Too many people just use slide after slide of bullet points - even now. Don't! No one will remember your presentation (except that it was dull). Here are some basic tips.

6:00 that's the craziest visual aid I've ever seen!

Hello again, Mr. Clayton. Speaking of fonts, I am creating a PowerPoint for my MGMT 605 Leadership course, but the font size keeps jumping around randomly whenever I try to type words. This did not happen with my other presentations. Do you have any idea how to "lock" that font size? Thank you.

I always start a presentation by adjusting the template to my liking. But I can't assess what's going on with your set-up, I'm afraid. One option is to set up the template on a new empty PPT deck. Then drag and drop the slides from the old deck into it. When prompted, opt for the destination format.

I find new instructors tend to lean on too many slides that are text paragraphs that they just ready to the audience. That should only be done if you are quoting something or reading a regulation. I think people forget that a slide show reenforce what you are saying, not repeating what you are saying. I like to remind the students if the slide show has every since detail that has to be read and understood, then why to they need to listen to you, they won't since they will be reading the screen 🍸

Absolutely. Slides are a visual AID. And an aid for the audience, not for the presenter!

      @@EzPez-zc5cc You are very welcome.
You give a good reason for my not trashing this comment and banning OP.
My other reason is free speech - there was no incitement and the disrespect was to the video, not me. So I let it stand.
I make my videos for the people (like you) who appreciate them. Those who do not like them are not required to watch them!
      Thank you for your support!
