Only thing you can say with a little bit of certainty is that Tatum and brown end up in Brooklyn and we're not even sure about that because if they don't trade for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett they probably trade for somebody else.
Plus the Celtics had the 1st pick originally so they might not do that trade st they take Markelle fultz
Andrew think about this, would the nets have even drafted Tatum? Or would they have kept the no.1 pick and taken fultz, leaving Tatum to the 76ers. Trading down to get Tatum was a choice made specifically by the Celtics and Danny Ainge.
He also forgot Jaylen Brown was supposed to be around the 7th pick, instead boston shocked everyone picking him 3rd. Also who knows what thr Nets couldve done with JB, bro was raw asf and Boston basically developed hin perfectly

I'm a Bucks fan, but of course they do. Brooklyn's biggest problem in that series was injury. Harden was purely playmaking, but KD was on fire. Kyrie was apparently VERY close to coming back and if he's not there for Game 1 vs Hawks, you can guarantee he comes back for Game 2 or 3.
Nets sweep Hawks, then if they meet Phoenix and remain injury free, steamroll them in 5.

The problem with these "what ifs" is that we can't assume the draft positions would land the same way (Nets would've had different season records not doing the KG-Pierce trade) and the Nets would've picked the same guys the Celtics did.
And even if that were true, wouldn't the Nets be the new Celtics and possibly make the NBA Finals anyways? It's a leap to say the Bucks would beat the Tatum-Brown Nets and even a bigger leap to say they would beat the Warriors.
Afterall, the Bucks lost to the Celtics who in turn lost to the Warriors. So I don't get why one would predict the Bucks would beat the Warriors.

The Nets probably don't win a chip but i think the trade was more disastrous because Deron Williams was falling off and they had a kid as a coach.
There's a lot of what ifs here. Starting off by 2017 if the Nets haven't traded their picks they would likely be too good to get a high pick and Draft Tatum. Also they would likely keep Russell (if they still do that trade) which means the Warriors wouldn't have Wiggins in 2022.On top of that if Kyrie wasn't traded to the Celtics in 2017 he would be traded somewhere else (i think Minnesota and Miami were in his list,maybe Philadelphia too since they had a lot to offer). Not to mention after the injury IT had the Celtics would likely decide to Tank. So overall there's way too many variables.

All this is not true. The nets wouldn’t draft tatum. Fultz was the clear number one pick so the nets would’ve drafted him. Lakers draft lonzo 6ers got tatum.
