Josh Bridges is more than an athlete. He's a warrior, someone who relentlessly tackles every challenge put before him. In partnership with Kill Cliff, we're proud to bring you an in-depth look at Navy SEAL and CrossFit Games legend Josh Bridges. Kill Cliff provided this American Spirit series video for BarBend to share in an exclusive release for our audience.
Hard work isn't just a mindset for Bridges; it's been his way of life since childhood. It's what motivated him to join the military, and it's what got him through the rigorous training necessary to become a Navy SEAL.
In this episode of Kill Cliff's American Spirit series, Bridges gives an intimate look inside his training and life history. The documentary also gets up close and personal with CrossFit Games Director Dave Castro, who was one of Bridges' instructors during his SEAL training.
It also features 8-time CrossFit Games Champion Rich Froning, one of Bridge's closest friends and rivals on the competition floor.

I've watched hundreds of interviews with these two. I knew both where SEALs but never heard that Dave was an instructor or that he trained Brigges. That's pretty cool.

I've seen countless videos of Josh Bridges and he infrequently mentions his service and never has mentioned any details of his deployments, to the extent I thought he got in but never saw active service. Humble guy.

What an amazing video. It's about time someone focused on Josh and what he brings to the Crossfit community. Froning, Fraser, Vellner, Fikowski....they're all great athletes (and great people too), but Josh brings something to the table that no one else can or does. I hope we see him in the 2021 Games since he's already said the 2020 Games are out due to elbow surgery and recovery. If for some reason he doesn't make it, I hope to see him with Rogue doing what Dan Bailey did for the 2019 Games. I'd love to hear his commentary on the athletes, the competition and how paint dries, if the mood strikes him. Hahaha. I just love his way of expressing everything he feels, thinks and sees. A solid human being right there.
