700hp F30 BMW Shreds Tires At

► This week on the BMW F30 340i Drift Taxi build, Michael Essa and the team are all finished and it’s time to shred. Building a drift car is never easy, but doing so with a relatively unproven chassis and engine in just a few weeks is asking for a lot. Yet Essa Autosport was able to battle through the adversity and challenges to finish the car just in time for its public debut at Gridlife Midwest. After a 30 hour trip out to Gingerman Raceway, the 340i Drift Taxi shreds its way to victory, shuttling fans around the track sideways and smokey. Essa is the nicest drifter I have ever had the pleasure of driving with. When I was building my LS powered FC I hit him up and he was incredibly helpful and forthcoming with information to help me complete the project. A few years later I got to drift with him at Willow Springs and it was amazing!
