- In this inaugural episode of the 2019 #GRIDLIFE Trackbattle series, we shake up the format a bit. This episode features drivers and builds which aren't necessarily time attack frontrunners. Each driver's motivation is different, but they're all hitting the track with the goal of pushing themselves to the limit.

Thomas Yates guy has a k20a man. That car is faster than both of those cars in a straight line. Stupid how fast 220hp is in 900kg car

@@aadilkhoodoruth7844 Everyone overestimates the S2000. The new ND Miata with the 185-190hp engine is making the S2000 look like a questionable purchase in the near future. There is a video of a guy who has been racing his S2000 for a while and he just can't catch the Miata which might have been close to stock. Not to mention you can cram a bigger engine into the ND if the time ever arises that you need to do something that drastic (I would be down to see a built K24 in the ND).
Civic is in TrackMod class, and therefore has more modifications, better tires, etc
The EF Hatch guy has a Civic that brings back heavy NFS Prostreet Ryan Cooper 240SX style vibes

Sintetic weight is what makes the handling good. Also helps power to weight ratio.
Levi seems like the kinda bloke I'd like to have a beer with. I love his Civic, the No Fucks Given attitude, and how his number is 420. I love cars like his; without pretence and ego, just go out and have fun. Even though his Civic isn't the fastest, or best handling, or (arguably) 'best looking', I bet you he's having the most fun out on the track, and that (to me) is what matters.
I was so stoked to see the new Gears and Gasoline #GRIDLIFE series pop up in my subs feed!
The best part to me is not only is he having the most fun, but he's beating the s2k and rx7 and hardly changes his break pads, oil, or any fluids in the car.
the diversity of drivers is amazing. different social classes different motivations different personalities and backgrounds. so cool to see everyone out here doing what they love

Gotta love being a millennial, youtube is a beautiful thing. Hours of new high quality content on your favourite things in my case cars everyday. Our poor parents had to wait till the weekly/monthly car mags came out or the next ep of Top gear etc was on tv. It's not all bad!

The “420” guy is a semi driver by profession, he is subject to random drug tests so he can’t smoke even if he wanted.. which makes the 420 all the more funny.
