- ►This week on the BMW F30 340i Drift Taxi build, Michael Essa and team get the Drift Taxi buttoned up and tuned on the dyno. There are only a few days left to get the car ready for Gridlife Midwest, so it’s all hands on deck. Firing the B58 brings looks of concern rather than smiles of joy as it billows oil smoke out of its titanium hood dump. Further investigation only leads to more confusion about what the possible issue could be. Are they going to make it to the dyno in time to get on the truck for Gridlife Midwest? Get yourself a vacuum relief valve pretty sure VTT has one…it will open a whatever you preset your desired vacuum. You could also replace the oil cap with a vented cap that releases excess pressure. Keep yourself in its happy parameters that would solve the smoking issues

No way, you did all that for 600hp big turbo+Port injection, and low pressure fuel pump, should be making 850+whp
Maybe they don't want to push the stock internals, piston n rods.

Wow i guess u're really good at reading forums & believing youtubers huh? In real life that's not gonna happen, not even s55 stronger internals could handle that kinda power unless it's just for dyno pulls showoff, those figures are assumptions or show cars that won't last

I didn't say it's the crankhub that can't last, that's easy fix, I'm talking bout the internals, I'm a 10year plus bmw authorise servoce center aftersales personal, I'm not a fanboi, I'm literally a walkin encyclopaedia of BMWs u noob, & i don't believe u own a BMW tbh
