They were the first concert I ever went to at the ripe old age of 14, and honestly it was a bit shit (though I can’t expect them to put out their A game at a small venue in Melbourne, I suppose). The way they embraced the colour pink was game changing to me as a hard core emo kid girl though, it was like I had permission to like pink again after years of hardcore “not like other girls” vibes in the scene

33:32 I think Trace added extra flair to the band. Similar to throwing a rapper in the mix, but of course with a different tone and style. I think it created great a balance that worked super well.

Mason Musso : Get out of here, Trace!
Trace Cyrus : What are y'all doing in here?
Mason Musso : It's called cocaine, and you don't want no part of this shit!
    Trace Cyrus : Cocaine?
Trace Cyrus : What's it do?
Mason Musso : It turns all your bad feelings into good feelings. It's a nightmare!
Trace Cyrus : I think I'd like to try me some of that "Cuck-ain"

It's weird because in their first acoustic videos before 2008, Cyrus sings pretty decent, he sounds good and he used to know how to sing.

Both guys with their guitars on stage look so iconic, I always thought Mason’s red firebird was one of the prettiest guitars I had seen

Man I still listen to the first album. It’s so good. Even to this day. I actually met Trace a few times. I had him in my RUclips channel a few times. We shot at his apartment the first time then we shot at the house he was living with when he was dating Brenda Song. He’s a super cool dude.

I'm a music nerd, in my recent years I've gotten into much more "acclaimed" music. With that being said, I will be a die-hard Metro fan till the day I die.... Every. Single. Song. was a hit to me. Lol

I remember I asked you to make a video about this group like 2 or 3 years ago lol but no worries as a content creator I definitely get how videos you “mean to do soon” turns into years long projects lol
None the less, thanks for the content! Metro station means a lot cause they’re legit my introduction into neon pop punk!
I was only 9 when their album hit and it had me hype! Introduced me into a lot of other music and it’s crazy because yeah it all started from Hannah Montana at least for me and how I got introduced 😂😂😂

As a guitarist I can say that anyone who plays the guitar should be able to tell pretty immediately by watching Trace play that he is awful. Borderline cant even play the instrument at all. Genuinely might be the worst guitarist in history who has been paid to play the guitar.

I knew Trace growing up. One day he punched me in the face for “staring at his ketchup”. I learned a valuable lesson that day. Never stare at a man’s condiments. Anyone who is a hater on Metro Station is a LOSER and I will always be their fan.
