Amazing LE blind! My Coy Hill has been open a month and it’s excellent. Raffle win for $85. What’s sad is that Buffalo Trace actually chill filters Eagle Rare 17, so it could really be even better. It’s crazy to do that to a special release, especially $125 BTAC. It’s even in the annual release product pdf on the Buffalo Trace website.
@deankruse4491 wow, that is crazy. There is no way I'd pay that amount for anything I'm gonna drink. There's good and bad with controlled states. The price is the good side.
What a treat to be able to do that. I like it but I will never be able to even see one of them in the stores in Iowa so not one of my favorite videos from Whiskey Row.
There’s always trying them at a whiskey bar or through sample trades on discord or other platforms/forums. I’ve tried 100’s of whiskies without owning the whole bottle. It’s about the experience! Cheers 🥃
Unicorns are VERY hard to distill, glad you got to try some!
That blind is exceptional. I will never see any of those bottles. Cheers!
It was awesome! I have only gotten my grubby hands on one of them (Coy Hill). So glad I could sample them though!
I see them all the time and then cringe at the prices
ER17 always so good

Thank you so much Justin Williams! Getting to taste the Birthday Bourbon and President’s Choice was awesome. Appreciate you😊
Glad you enjoyed it! I knew I needed to include Old Forester this time 😁
Wow…great opportunity to try those top shelvers / unicorns…flavors most will never experience
80 dollars for coy hill in NC. I think price included for the decision its a win. I would love to have any of those, though. Cheers my friends 🎉🎉🎉
I have only seen one bottle of it and it was going for $700. 😮

Would have been more interesting if there was a non unicorn bottle in the mix.
Jaime mentioned that after the fact and it would have been. Something common, a great value, and impressive.
Good idea. I’ll maybe incorporate that in Unicorn Blind Part 3 🥃
About 7:06 I think we almost had ex-wife #9. 😮😂
LOL, pretty close!
Old Forester bumped the proof up to 107 for this year’s birthday bourbon
It helped. Much better than the other version I had a couple years ago.

Fair point... I've only ever owned a Coy Hill from this list. This stuff is just so hard to find.
I can't get into any Eagle Rare because I can never find any depth in the taste
They all sound wonderful Too bad I will never even see, much less obtain ANY of them. 🙁
I've only ever owned a coy hill. Very true statement though!
I bet the guy that owns these bottles WAYYY overpaid for them!!
