- Ashley Brown plays Mary Poppins in the National Tour of Disney & Cameron Mackintoshs Mary Poppins. As a part of the taping of Backstage with Mary Poppins in Westfield Insurance Studio Theater in the Idea Center at PlayhouseSquare, Ashley sings "Feed the Birds."
i think ashley brown has one of the most beautiful voices ive ever heard i seen her and gavin in mary poppins on broadway and she was an amazing mary and this song makes me teary specially the way she sings it
My fav poppins song... Transforms me to being little and watching her in awe.
Amazing 🎉
it's hard not to fall in love with a voice like that.
Absolutely beautiful. My favorite Mary Poppins song
She makes singing this great look so easy!
She is my fav singer i saw her in Mary she gave me the chills, this song makes me cry!!!!!
I saw Ashley as Mary Poppins in Dallas, she was just plain amazing!
So freaking beautiful. I have tears in my eyes!
I honestly don't have words for this I'm literally speechless 😍😭
Stunning performance xxx ❤ thankyou xx
She just sang that beautifully and I love the feeling that she put into it.
I was lucky enough to see Ashley on Broadway as Mary Poppins AND Belle. I love her!
Ashley is a beautiful and talented artist. We are so lucky to have her here performing for the next 3 weeks!
she is stunning!
Amazing voice! I had never heard of her. So happy I came across her.
This is stunning! She does Julie Andrews justice! Freaking gorgeous!
Wow~~~ I cried a little...
Beautiful Voice. I hope I get to see her on Tour. I already saw Laura Michelle.
I saw Ashley in New York, really amazing!
She's stunning
I didn't realize Mary Poppins had such a great rack. Kidding. Perhaps one of my favourite melodies of all time.
Walt Disney's favorite song.
And mine. Since childhood. Love it.
She started with MP two years out of college. I was lucky enough to see her when I was 8/9 yearsold on broadway. I wonder what she's doing now. She deserved a tony nomination for this and the tony voters hardly awknoledged this beautiful show.
She's going to be in the new tour of the Sound of Music, playing the Mother Abbess, where she can wrap her beautiful voice around Climb E'vry Mountain and maybe My Favorite Things (if they do the original version)
I was in the audience for this! It was amazing!
Beautiful voice!
oh my God, she's got a great voice!
I love Julie Andrews voice but Ashley Brown is hands down the best singer of all the performers I have heard sing this song.
Great cover!
Great!!
que bonita version, me encantó
que bonita cancioin hasta cantada por ashley
That's awesome... Let us know what you think after you see it! Enjoy :)
oooooo i got stop playing this over and over again or ppl will think me a Ashley Brown addict lol. its gots to be the dress shes wearing
So beautifull... Christ...!
Guessing I'm not - I was born and reared in London. The word is tuppence (and back in my early youth we also had thruppeny bits, tanners, florins, half-crowns and ten-bob notes), but it's pronounced by the singer, incorrectly, as Tuppince (hence my comment about the singer's accent being worthy of Dick Van Dyck (who had a famously dodgy accent in Mary Poppins).
podrian la version nueva de mary poppins con ella
She needs to listen to Julie Andrew's pronunciation of ' tuppence'. There in no 'i' in that word.
En EEUU pronuncian con "I"
En UK pronuncian con "e"
she's really good lol at the man in the background
nothing beats julie andrews.
Tuppence?
2 peniques
Ahh that's my most hated mistake so many people make in the lyrics of this song 1:57
I’m the bird woman whoop
tuppence; is an old english coin. you are meant to pronounce it like that
She does indeed have a lovely voice - although her 'English accent' slips quite a lot! Still, she is stunning!
You sound like Mary poppins
She sounds alot like Julie Andrews in some parts.
mary poppens remake with her
...... it's not an opera..... its Disney
well different but her voice is good but not exactly like Mary poppins k but your voice is wonderful
Accentwise a worthy successor to Dick Van Dyck. Tuppince?
Great voice an all..I really appreciate her vocals..no break etc I'm there vocally etc...BUT..TuppINCE? TuppENCE! a bag! Ence..no Ince..an ence..Tuppence. 2p. Pence. No 2p Pince. I rest my case.
i don't like this rendition. The singers voice is too aggressive and it's as though she doesn't believe or feel what she's singing.
Don't like it either and agree with your comment about her voice and the singer not being at all in what she sings.
lol someone hasn't heard a British accent before.
her voice is too hard for the voice of Mary Poppins
I feel she's got a nice voice- but bad when it comes to actually SINGING it :/
Tappince a Bhag? Appostiles? The most impossible act to follow though
IT’s tuppence…the main word wrong….poor
Although she has a nice voice, I don't think she captures the essence of what is supposed to be going on when she is singing this. Plus, the way she pronounces tuppence really bothers me. It's tuppence, not topince. Geez. I have to say, I don't really like it. Maybe someone else can sing it with feeling, not just a good voice. sigh. There will never be anyone as good as Julie Andrews.
Its too abrasive. Disappointing.
