I had only a rough idea of this story from seeing the illustrations at the end of original RE4. This really brings it to life in full detail. So sad. It's more richly layered than any theatrical RE movie. Thank you.
@@TheAnonymousANT well yeah cause look at the gap on his uploads. If he had the time to release a video weekly that is as high quality as this video then he would blow up in no time. It's pretty simple. It takes one or two good videos and a steady upload timeline then he indeed would blow up. Considering how good his videos are he would be getting 10k- 35k views within the first 5 uploads. Just this year he had a 4 month gap between two videos.

I love Silent Hill. It was the first horror game I played after RE1. I definitely want to do a video about one of the games in the series. I like to go for things that no one has covered before, so if I see something I will certainly make a video on it. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it!

I remember when I to used play this game as a kid none of it really scared me that much (I was a pretty desensitised kid lol) but the pictures of the villagers in the credits would really disturb me. Like I was suddenly faced with the reality that these enemies I'd just enjoyed shooting and killing for hours were actual people just living their own lives once. The one with the dying child in the chair especially got to me, I guess cos I was still a kid myself. Nicely done by Capcom cos it makes the end of the game really bittersweet, like yeah Leon Ada and Ashley get to go home but 1000s of innocent people have been tortured and killed so don't celebrate beating the game TOO hard lol On another note, the sketches are beautiful. The style reminds me a bit of Arthur's journal from Red Dead 2
There are rules about not killing kids in games and they did a good job writing lore around it, I'm pretty sure that's why (spoilers for RE7) they made Eveline become an old woman before you kill her in RE7 also
The little humming sound effect made me realise how creepy it would’ve been if some of the female ganados did that early on in the game before noticing you

More like the untold story of how shert this franchise has become I hated this rubbish back on ps2 fast Forward to now and it's still shert fark resident evil it's shert even the remakes are shert resident evil 7 sucked I skipped 6 because 5 was Shert haven't played village but I played the remakes and those are shert RE engine looks like rubbish
