  • Taking the Yamaha YZ250F to MX Acres in Fredonia, PA. This is my first time at this track, and although I didn't know it at the time, the last ride on my 2015 Yamaha YZ250F. I bought my 2023 KTM 250 SX-F a few weeks ago at this point and have the Yamaha up for sale. Great last ride on a really fun track. The ruts were deep and caused a few crashes in the same corner. Unfortunately, I bent my bars and had to ride with it half the day, making it quite a challenge. Mike had a nasty fall in the woods and ended up going to the hospital for some stitches (GRAPHIC CONTENT). Thankfully he's all healed up and back on the bike!

Have you had a chance to compare/ride the new 24 yz250f vs your 250sxf? Im between the two and feel like we are similar riders. Would be curious of your thoughts comparing the two!

I haven't had the opportunity to ride the new 2024 YZ250F, just the 2023 before it was redesigned. Not a great comparison, but pretty much every review/video is spot on. YZ250F has great suspension (KYB) and low-mid power. KTM has great components (hydraulic clutch, brembo brakes, map switch, quick shift, etc.) and incredible mid-high end power. Air forks are meh, but you can do a cartridge swap or eventually get used to them. I much prefer the KTM chassis and ergonomics over the Yamaha. KTMs just feel very comfortable to me, but that's personal preference. Hope this helps!
