Yvan Cournoyer was the fastest wing coming over the red line and skating to the net over the blue line he was so quick he had the perfect nickname, the Roadrunner ten Stanley Cups in 16 seasons is an incredible achievement! I miss the old time players and the old rivalries!
My personal hero growing up. Da roadrunner!
Kid could game! What a move and what a goal!
@@fatseaturtle absolute magician!
Never seen a goal scored like that. Thanks Yvan!
Same for me. Very interesting. Many baseball player can hit both ways, why not hockey player? I'm surprised Crosby or Kovolev did not do that.
Chris Chelios also did that with the Habs, can't remember though if he ever scored
Amazing!
And he picks the top left hand corner with his stick clearly having a 'healthy' curve to the left!
What a treat to have watched him when I was growing up in the 1970s.
Thank You!
ya! superb Goal!!! well done Yvan!
One of the best you’ll see!
He also did the same against the Russian team in Montreal.
That's why you use a straight stick.
