Loved Brad, took my daughter on her 8th birthday to see boston with Brad, was my first concert when I was 16. I've seen them a few times since he passed and while there's no substitute for Brad, those shows were great shows full of Brads fans.
I get teared up watching this. Huge regret was not booking that ticket to Seattle in 86 for one of my favorite bands. And Brad Delp..... tragic. Why did you rob us of your beautiful gift too early? Such a prophetic song considering he was gone a few short years later. There will never be another Brad Delp there will never be Boston without the incredible unforgettable Brad Delp. 🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭
They are still great, but you are right. Not the same without Brad. Wife and I took our sons to see them for their Birthday's in 2017. None of us could talk the next day! Fantastic! Mind blowing! I can't describe it in mere words...If the original band had all been there, I think that I would have died right then and there, a very happy man!
The only group of my favourites (apart from Lynyrd Skynyrd who I booked to see and then came the crash). They (Boston) influenced my life, I set up an office in Boston, I bought a Corvette (I'm a Scot living in Europe) a mega 1990 model, with a 4:3 Doug Nash gearbox, from a dealer in Framington, and Boston is the ONLY place in the US that as from about 10 years I will ever go in the US.
In pop maybe, but not in rock or metal. The voices of original vocals make the tunes their own. Most music in the pop world is simply there to make a quick buck. Quality and longevity are fading in that sense. Classics will never replaced, even when certain people seem to forget.
I was 15 when this stuff came out, still makes every hair on my body stand up when I hear it. Now, I'm the guy with the grey beard sitting next to you at the set of lights with my sound cranked up high enough to drown out the hippity hop coming from the car beside me. They turn their shite down, look over at me and smile.
SUPERIOR TO THE OFFICIAL TRACK!!!!! I LOVE TO SEE THEM PERFORM THIS SONG!!!!!LEGENDARY SIMPLY LEGENDARY!!!!!! WOW MOST OF US DIDN'T REALIZE HOW GOOD THESE TIMES WERE!!!!!! TAKE ME BACK!!!!!
Seen them in the late 80s at kemper arena in kansas city Missouri best fucking concert I ever been to felt like the whole arena was gonna cave in they jammed so hard ill never forget it 58 years old now and I still jam loud as hell to Boston rock on man...
Wow great live version it rocks!! Boston had a wonderful ,positive vibe to their music. It's sad it wasn't enough for Brad. We the fans will keep this band alive 🤘 rock on

Saw them several times growing up they were one my favorite bands to see when they came to the area thanks for all the good memories of being young again
mi padre nos trajo este disco a la casa en el 79 y no podiamos creerlo, is like omg, we exploded xP, l'm chasing that dream singing this song in all the karaoke bars
Brad Delp was amazing! Effortlessly reached high notes! And I enjoyed his Beatles cover band. He loved the Beatles and sang their songs well. I guess they inspired him and I didn’t know he was a fellow Beatlemaniac like me! I would have loved to have met him and talked about the Beatles music. I bet he knew things I don’t know and Vice versa. It would have been fun and interesting. But I never got the chance and he checked out on that sad day. I feel bad for how he ended up. It wasn’t necessary but I guess he was in pain. What a shame no one helped him. I heard everyone say he was one of the nicest guys in music. RIP Brad Delp-The music lives on
Damn Brad: I am sorry you had to leave us but I know the pain and how it torments some of us 24/7-365.. I am the age now that you were when you had to go.and if not for friends and family, I would be gone also and may well join you someday soon. Thanks for the memories my friend and I pray you have found the peace that was denied you in this life.
when this album came out i played it for almost a year....i am 68 years old now....i just had a cosmic orgasm listening to this for the first time in a great while....the sound, the visuals, the intensity, the aura.....all positive all euphoric all physical all perfect.....never saw them in person but have loved them from their first album to now....does anything modern even come close to this band?.....if so, let me know.....
And to think, this is Brad at his worst. When he sounds like "shit", he still sounds better than most. So sad that he was a tortured soul, may you rest in peace man.
At age 13 I slept out overnight, in light snow in SLC, UT to buy tickets for the 1st Biston Tour. I don't remember what I paid, but sold 2 3rd row center stage tickets for 300. Hated myself ever since. The Old Salt Palace had awesome acoustic tho. Styx, Foreigner, Jefferson Airplane.
Originally recorded in front of the Nassau Coliseum new years in Uniondale...BRAD DELP my cousin from New Hampshire Produced A Beatles rig..I got a ride in an old caddy some cigars and Chinese takeout..COFFEE. &.....KAPOW : BOSTON
When Brad Delp died, Boston died. I’ve been a hard core fan since first hearing them in the ‘70s.
Loved Brad, took my daughter on her 8th birthday to see boston with Brad, was my first concert when I was 16. I've seen them a few times since he passed and while there's no substitute for Brad, those shows were great shows full of Brads fans.
THE BEST ROCK VOICE....period...RIP, BRAD...........
No one can ever replace Brad...
Paul Bruno also Barry on the Electric guitar
Tom Shultz is a musical genius! Boston is a great band! They deserve to be in the Hall of Fame!
His voice, coming out of my 10 dollar computer speakers, is still perfect. He will always be in the highest stratosphere of male singers.
Absolutely one of the all time greatest bands ever. Incredible music. It just doesnt get any better than Boston.
Forget the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots. The Best Team to come out of Boston is Tom and Brad.
Red Sox Sux.
Hahaha
Boston rules.

Tom Scholz was the man behind the records and sounds. Never forget to mention him.
Man...I see this...and feel this...and I'm sad at what modern day music has become.

some of it is very good.
Look closer.
Is Michael Sweet playing the guitar with Boston ?
Brad Delp has the best rock and roll singing voice of all time!
l
Kevin Roberts absolutely
As far as this era of rock goes, Brad and Don Barnes (.38 special) are the standouts among a phenomenal amount of other talent.
Brad is amazing, but I have to disagree with you when we have the likes of Lou Gramm, Paul Rodgers, Roger Daltrey...
There is no beating the late, great Brad Delp...
Brad was at the top of his game here. He didn't miss any high notes and even added a few . Band was spot-on!
Best of the best and pure winners, I say. Tom you created a tone that has stood the time 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎💥🙊🙉🙈
Every time I watch this or any other Boston live performance with Brad Delp I'm still blown away after almost a half a century.
I was 15 when this stuff came out, still makes every hair on my body stand up when I hear it. How is Boston NOT in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame?!?!?!
I doubt that wil ever happen, they were HATED by Rolling Stone. I think Toad the Wet Sproket will get in faster!
Not consistant enough to be nominated , although a great band.🇺🇸🎸. !

And to think, this is Brad at his worst. When he sounds like "shit", he still sounds better than most. So sad that he was a tortured soul, may you rest in peace man.
I wonder when this was. I wish it had been recorded on a better system. I saw them live in 78, awesome concert!!!

BRAD DELP, OHHH YEAHHHH, SO GOOD, LOVE IT, WOW, LOVE YA BRAD, THE ONE AND ONLY!! THANK YOU!!
That is not Brad Delp. He died in March 2007. He was AMAZING but I think this guy is VERY close to how great Brad was.
BeLynda Smith It sure looks like him and the guy got the vocal range like him and it sounds like him IMO.

That is indeed Mr. Delp.
You're correct. I realized my mistake later the same evening I posted my stupid reply.

IT'S OKAY I'M WITH THE BAND
Also he left the members of his band without a lead singer who had so much soul.
tom sholtz daughter on guiter how fun that was....
Looks like Kimberley Dahme on bass. She became the first female member of Boston. Don't know about her being ant relation to Tom though...
Carl Nel They are married
For such a supposed Boston "expert", you didn't know that Tom married his second wife in 2007? Look it up.
This song is in the first rock band
David Hauck /sigh
What now this is a good song
Fantastic group ! They should tour !
this is a rock instruction manual. do this - and rock. end.
