Know these are pricey but I bought 4 of them over time at JoAnn's using my 40 or 50% coupon. These hardly ever go on sale. These are where I store my crystals. They stack nicely and don't take much room.

You can find these containers at Joann Fabric. The bead board is $19.99. The storage containers are $39.99. I like the idea. I work best with no clutter. I will however wait until they go on sale or I have a good coupon.

I do not like these my husband bought me 2 and I ought 2 more. and realized they are very hard to see the beads in the smaller containers. Not to mention sometimes the latch sticks and your beads go flying. So they are put back in the rubbermaid storage bin. Sorry but they are good idea. but the smaller ones very hard to see.

The Craft Mates EZ lock 28 compartment storage was AWESOME but is sadly now discontinued. Each compartment held around 45 grams of seed beads. These compartments seem to be smaller, but nothing is said about how much they hold.

I have put Craft Mates containers in the trays and prefer that, as if the tray falls I will have 42 containers on the ground...lid handle came out and had to stuff tiny bits of cotton in each hole when the handle snaps in to keep the handle from coming off. Great idea...needs a bit of work. Would like to see the containers snap in. Pix of Craft Mates in the trays pbase dot com/cits4pets/beads last image in gallery.

I have found these for about half the price of $49.99 they ask for. Wish I could remember where though!

I was afraid to store my delicas & seed beads cause the lid opens so wide, use Craft Mates & round 7 compartment containers. I find the lids pretty stiff to open and was so afraid the delicas would fly out. (Have lots of 15/0) Use these for larger beads.

Ugh I can't afford these. And this would be so perfect for me.
I'd put a label on the side of the container for sizes or colors so I wouldn't have to search through when stacked.

I saw the assorted ones for $19.97 and tiny set for $33.71 on Amazon.com. You might want to check it out! Joann.com had both for $19.99 for a while but it looks like that sale is over now.

These are what I use and they cost so little. I'm in the uk but I'm sure they sell them in the US. And then they all just stack on top of each other on a shelf I use just for beads. They're clear so I can see the bead inside and they have a really tight closing lid.
The 35ml I use for seed beads and they hold around 50g of say a size 11. the 100ml I use for larger beads and for beads I seem to have a tonne of lol.. I llitterally have all my beads in thse and it's only cost me around twelve pounds, that's for 150 containers.

Joanne's dot com often has them at 50% off. I think I paid 20 dollars for the tray with mixed sized containers. They have been out of stock this weekend so not on their site. You just got to keep checking. I like these BSS trays with Craft Mates organizers in them. Pix of these storage trays but using Craft Mates bead storage in them. pbase dot com/cits4pets/bead last image in gallery is of bead storage solutions.

Another source for storage trays are Home Depot, Lowes, Home hardware stores, etc. Don't just think "beading stores," as they suck the bank account dry for cheap, breakable, thin, tiny, junk. Go strong and buy at hardware stores :-) "Husky" is a brand that is out now, which replaced a super brand (don't remember name, sorry - can't find them anyway ...) for SO little money. AMAZON has some items, but look for HARDWARE, not "beading / crafting." You'll get stronger goods for your mony :-)
