When I work on my bead storage i have a thick piece of felt or a thin fleece like fabric down on the table. It makes me crazy to have the beads roll around and get away from me. I love this storage idea. I stalked a bunch of Dollar Tree stores and grabbed a bunch of them. I lined all of them up in drawers. It makes me so happy. hugs, treen
I did this a while back. It makes a big difference. I have mine stacked but I do like the idea of putting them in another clear container. It makes a beautiful colorful display. TFS.
My sister and i recently bought these same boxes for our beads. We just got a laugh from you doing the same thing. Brilliant minds work in same circles! Peace sister!
I love the 10 for a dollar containers! Every time I shop Dollar Tree I grab at least 5 bags. So useful in so many applications. (My 'kitchen junk drawer isn't so junky now.) I was at Michael's several yrs ago when they had the Iris cases 4 for $10.00 - I bought 20. I had no purpose for so many at that time but now I wish I had purchased more. Plus seeing the contents is helpful and inspirational. Thank you for a great video.
Very clever idea. I started watching just for fun & ended up finding a very helpful tip. I am about to begin an organization marathon in my craft room & this prevents me from making a big error because I had planned on using the same system you had before. Thanks so much!
What a good idea! A lot of my beads are in a big plastic tub in different size boxes! That was fun to see….and yes I’ll just bet your excited because now you can see what you have! Thank you! This gives me some cool ideas!
I use these containers too! I’m happy to find out that they fit in the Iris containers, that’s one I didn’t try. I use mine for small parts and embellishments. Great storage video . Thank you!
Oooooohhhhhh an iris case! Why didn’t I think of that! I use these small containers for lots of small little findings and beads as well. And I have three empty iris cases! I’ve been looking for a way to store the small containers. Thank you so much for your genius idea! 💖
thank you. When I saw her video, I bought the little tubs thinking eventually I would find a box that worked. I never found a box, and I thought I should use an IRIS case just until I found a box. :) Now I love the IRIS
I love using this storage idea for my sequins. I can fit 58 tubs, 60 - tight but still fits. I made a video about a year ago if you want to check it out. That way you don't have to bother with trying to fill in the gaps. Happy to see that they still sell these tubs at the store.
I use these for almost all my smaller beads and even smaller sizes for seed beads...divided tackle box is perfect for larger beads...I also make use of divided veggie and fruit trays for keeping stuff in while I am sitting for my next project. I am just getting started making jewelry but I am really having a blast!!!

yes ive done these myself lord knows i started with the beads a few years back and then i put them in a storage bin so i also was able to use a marker and labled mine so i can find what i need .
Hi lolly I got some of this I use for my Embellishments & beads I glue them together to stack up they look very nice on my table top love your channel.
I use these for all my beads, but I would need several of those cases, I have over 200. I just need something to put my little containers in. Thank you for sharing.
@@LollyPalooza I have a bead picker that I use to get to those beads that get stuck in the corner. Bead pickers have a waxy end that grab not just beads but little jump rings etc.
Love it! Mine are in those big white tackle boxes they have for jewelry now, plus some miscellaneous boxes and bags... all this is in a laundry baskets! Started buying these little boxes when I travel with beads, etc. tfs! cj
I loved beadifulnights’ storage video and I am glad to see it worked so well for you! I have looked high and low in our storage place for my beads but I cannot find them. But When I do, the Dollar Tree containers are going to replace my other storage bins.
Lolly Palooza yes, I did link it to you a while back. I would love to see a show-and-tell video of your bead stash with a closeup look in the containers. You know how we crafters like to ooh and aah at other crafters’ stashes. Lol
I put mine in mini crates and hang them on the wall. How come I have a ton more then you LOL I dont use breads very often. I guess I should use my stash 😁
LOLLY THAT WAS AMAZING AND VERY SATISFYING FOR YOU I BET ! A WEIGHT OFF YOUR SHOULDERS SO TO SPEAK ! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT YOU COME UP WITH SINCE YOU CAN SEE ALL YOUR BEADS NOW ! GOD BLESS !
Great video. As I’m in UK Walmart is not a viable place to shop. What are the dimensions of the individual boxes and the overall dimensions of the Iris large box? Thank you in advance
The small boxes are unusually shaped. The bottoms are about 2" by 1 3/4" The tops of the lids are about 2 1/2" by 2 1/8". Iris cases are made to hold 12" scrapbooking papers, so the narrowest inner aspect is 12 1/2" square
Excellent video. Actually I just watched Beadifulnight’s video and said to myself will try it with the iris storage cart. Love you video too, thanks for sharing 👍🏽. All the way from UK 🇬🇧.
BEING A KNOOWN BEADED TAPESTRY ARTIST I HAVE OWNED THOUSANDS OF THE DOLLAR TREE CONTAINERS THEIR AMAZING YOU CAN ORDER THEM ONLINE BUT YOU WOULD ONLY GET 1;2 ROUND AND 1/2 SQUARE
I started by driving around looking for these containers. Not easy to find. But I was lucky and at the second store (the largest in my area). They were out. Spoke w the mgr and she told me that a truck had arrived. She had a case. So the secret is to find out when the truck arrives, make friends w the mgr and she will look for u. The packs come already assembled ready to hang. The square and round come in the same bundle. The “store” can not order it for u. Headquarters makes the ordering for them by looking at the inventory. I suppose one can order the case, get what they want, and see if the store will take back what u don’t want.
The IRIS cases are listed under the video in the supplies list. They are known for their ability to hold 12" scrapbooking papers, so you might call them scrapbooking cases.

I have similar yellow bins and I agree with you, they are not the best storage system for beads. I like your new system! I'm off to the Dollar Store!!

Does this work for melty beads (Perler, Hama, Artkal).
Yes, those are even smaller than the beads I have in these containers, so they will fit.

ur sound has a echo ever so often
It depends on the device you're using. I have played on two computers and an android phone with no issues.
Your mike is echoing your voice.....
Hmmm. When I uploaded it and listened to it on the computer, there was no feedback. I wonder what happened
If I listenl on either computer, there's no echo. If I listen on my phone, and I turn the volume all the way up, I can hear a faint echo.
