Most van owners want a 2kw heater, why don't these companies focus more on that size? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Its a really good point. To be honest I have always been a little dubious of how accurate any of the heat output ratings are on most diesel heaters.
I suspect the lean towards marketing them as 5kW+ is due to the American Market (which is much larger than the UK Market) where bigger vans and the perception that "Bigger is better", means 5kW+ is more popular.
Personally I would say anything bigger than VW Transporter size probably would benefit from more than 2kW especially if they have long runs of heating duct / multiple outlets and want to warm the van quickly.
They all have variable temperature settings so you can lower the output, often meaning that to get 2kW output, a 5kW heater will run quieter on a lower setting than a 2kW heater will on full blast which some prefer. I would still recommending running them on full every so often though.

@@ExploreVanUK it just seems there's such a big demand for the 2kw heaters here which these companies are really missing out on. If someone could sell a reliable 2kw heater for these prices they would make a fortune!
