  • I read all six volumes of Karl Ove Knausgaard's My Struggle and summarized my thoughts here. I could have said so much more about this 3,600 epic memoir, but kept my comments to 25 minutes. If you read this book, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Your content and delivery here is stellar. I think your channel will grow much in the coming year, barring any apocalyptic scenarios of course. All the best!

This was a really insightful review! Writing an honest memoir with the aim of amplifying how we all have qualities in common with Hitler is a genius conceit. You've earned yourself a sub x

So far I've gotten through the first four. The third one was my least favorite because I don't really like reading about children (unless they're gothic novels, like Flowers in the Attic). My favorite was the second.

Knaussgard's writing is the closest I've gotten to hearing somebody else's thoughts. I can't stop reading these books.

You could hold up a 7-11 with book six in a pinch.

Be excited for the morningstar-series! It's fantastic! The fourth book just released in Norway, and it looks like it might even be a 7-part-series.

Much reader respect👍🏾💯 for slogging through those intimidating tomes to the very end like a deep underground miner in search of gold ore. Fortunately it payed off.

I have only read one book by Karl Ove Knausgård, the first volume of "Min kamp" (My struggle). I usually say that reading it was MY struggle. 🤣 Though Karl Ove Knausgård's language is really beautiful, I wasn't able to relate to it at all, and I found it very very boring. Also, I dislike how he calls it fiction, but extradites people (by name) without their consent. I don't think I ever made a video on it on my English channel (I read it many many years ago). There are many coming-of-age novels written by Norwegian authors that I find so much better.
