Yes they're a ranking however a white belt can kick a blue belt all over the matt. All depends that being said don't let fear or hesitation defeat u

You kinda have to be old enough to have watched the original Karate Kid movies at that time to appreciate the switch to Johnny Lawrence's perspective. Watching the old movies now after or before watching this isn't the same. For 40 years us old-timers only ever knew Johnny Lawrence as the "Bad Guy", burning that into your psyche for that long can't be simulated. You believed something for that long and to see him and his relationship with Danny redeemed is deep. All the woke BS in the show can't dent that. All the callbacks to the movies of the 80s and 90s...Brilliant.

I'm 30. Watched all 3 Karate Kid films when I was a kid. Last year i saw ad for the seties and sait to myself I'm not gonna watch some lame ass teen karate show. Then i watched bcs i didnt find anything else good, and man, i was stunned how good it was. This shoe proves that ehen you got good writers you can make a great show out of anything
I'm your age and this has become my favorite series ever. I saw the ad on youtube when it first came out in 2018 and thought the same as you, but since it was for free, I decided to check it out. I was instantly hooked right when Johnny kicked Kyler's face outside the strip mall.

Robby made a critical mistake, but it all came from Miguel's constant intervention. First through the tournament, and then the whole affair with Sam. Miguel is just as much at fault as Robby is.
