Group Walk to LORDS SEAT in the North York Moors

- A RUclips collaboration and ‘Plus Size Friendly Hike’ to the Three Lords Stone in the North York Moors. The walk is a 3 mile loop, starting from the Lord Stones Country Park, where there is free parking and an excellent café, which we all made good use of when we got back. You can take the direct route straight up, following the Cleveland Way or as we did, circle around the base of the Three Lords Stone, before taking the gentler assent to the top of Cringle Moor and walking along the Fell top to the Lords Seat. A real fun day out, on a real family friendly walk.

I really like that you have a group of other RUclipsrs that are close to you that you can meet up with from time to time. Group walks can be quite fun. A bit on the muddy side, but it looks like everyone had a wonderful hike.

Hi Alan this was great to have company when you were alone here last time! You all looked like you were having fun with Mrs M leading the way and nice to see you out with most people that I know :) This seemed like a nice short walk and good that there was a stone path especially as you had 4 seasons in one day 🤭 I could definitely feel the North Yorkshire winds there ! Loved this Alan, what an awesome day and we all know from doing these collabs just how hard it is to get any worthwhile filming as that takes second place to just meeting the people you are with. You did an amazing job here, not only capturing the amazing spirit and fun of the day but also getting a great video out. Was it really last March you were here last? Seems like yesterday. I hope your Grandson has forgiven you, the heather in bloom and a trip to that magnificent cafe should do the trick! ❤
Ha unsure about my oldest grandson but our youngest one is only 3 and I think he will really enjoy this walk, not too far, great views and a sense of achievement for him too. Getting a video was a bonus and I almost did not bother taking my camera (pleased I did now), as it was March last year and the first really nice and warm day of the year, fingers crossed we can look forward top many of them in the coming year too. Funny enough it was a year ago I did this same route for the first time and the was brilliant. I said this was going to be the best route for the group but who knew there was going to be an overnight monsoon, turning the path into an absolute bog until we got to the top :o(.
