Thanks again for another informative video! I have a viper/ endbell armature in a M car chassis. The magnets along with the pole piece arrange the magnetic field orientation like the Viper/ Super G plus. I plan on purchasing more Viper arms in the near future for more M car builds.

4:00 How much trimming of the main shaft is required to get the TYCO armature to fit in the old AFX G Plus? How much of a speed/power improvement is there between the two armatures (G+ and TYCO)?

Not sure off hand I would come pare the arm shaft on the original to the new arm and go from there

Very informative. I have a Tyco 440x2 that throws sparks when I pull the trigger on the AFX 120-ohm controller with the tri-power-pack running at 22 volts. Is that an indicator that it should be replaced or is it something like it is just running on too high a voltage?

That i pretty normal for a tyco. If the arm was wrong it would not work at all

Fyi. The Fusion is able to run either Tyco timed or Viper timed arm. Just need to use the correct endbell. Great video kind sir. Thanks
