dang, the head bobbing bit got me laughing the loudest all week. For some reason that bit and the other normal bee footage reminded me of my youth. Your humor's on point, man, and your videos are sweet stuff. With this Argonaut venture, my hopes are rising for a video on Malice. Not just for what it ended up as, but for what it could and should have been. There's a lot of interesting stuff to talk about with Malice, and with videos like the one with the gun controllers for video games you do seem to like digging into obscure gaming stuff like that. And there's still quite a bit of that to be found for Malice on YT-- there's an 11-part series of videos (if i recall correctly) for example, that showed the game as being quite different compared to the finished product. I'll not spill the beans already on how, but I really hope it's something you'll bring up if that video ever comes around. (AlsokindahopingforaKyaDarkLineagevideosometime) In any case, as a random commenter on the internet, I'm glad to see your channel still going, and I hope that you're still having fun with it-- and will keep on doing so for as long as you continue.
I got this game as a present as a kid, saw the box and was like "this is going to be the dumbest game ever". Then I booted it up and was hit with the title screen and was like "OKAY.... THERE IS POTENTIAL HERE" and it ended up being my second favorite aerial combat game on the system next to Star Fox 64.
I have literally been binging through all of your videos since yesterday. I like how much you can say about games without spoiling them. Keep going at it!

buck bumble was an ok game with a great, unique theme, however.. it had so much potential, and I only really saw it in one level, oddly, the one you hated. Buck bumble is at its worst when it encourages you to take your time, slowly killing enemies one at a time, managing your ammo and health, searching for all the hidden goodies, before finally actually tackling the level objective. Its boring, theres no real challenge or point. The only level you cant do this is the timed sewer level, where you have to fly frantically, judging every encounter and every pickup for whether its really essential, while periodically being tested on your gunplay by those pesky spiders. THAT was what brought together what buck bumble had to offer as a game, you really feel like a severely outnumbered, heavily armed bee swooping around the environment, trying to escape. If the game had primarily been like that, at least in later levels, it would have been a tight gameplay loop. But I dont think they had a huge budget or a lot of time to do what they did.
This game seems like they took the ideas of Starfox 2 and implemented in this game. Also the best bug themed game is Bug Fables. I'm currently playing through it and its an amazing Paper Mario styled rpg.
I was referring to them having developed Star Fox and Star Fox 2 which paved the way for 64 and, by proxy, the Rumble Pak. Think of the joke as drawing a comparison between that and something like a parent being proud of their child's accomplishments.
