There's some serious multi tasking going on ... speaking two languages, talking on radio, reading check list, handling controls, watching gauges, having fun ..... the ultimate reality game 🙏
Captain on the Airbus, and like many here , I’m willing to help you anyway you need. Great videos and God bless! Cheers
Thank you very much!
Every parent's dream: A smart, and handsome young man with a great personality, too!
Reminded me of my first solo in 1999. I was much older than this young man, but the feeling is the same. Good job young man! Fly safe!
16 years old, 16 minutes, 16 seconds lol

If you ever get bored flying on your own I would be very happy to sit next to you and enjoy the wonderful views, great video and content.
You’re going to become a great pilot with a great future. Wishing you success from Phoenix Arizona USA
Great flying! I got my private and commercial licences at Moorabbin airport in Victoria Australia in 1991-93. I wish you all the success! Flying is SO MUCH FUN!! It was always a dream of mine.
Hello from California🇺🇸 really nice touch and go. Your parents must be very proud of you. You’re an inspiration to other young pilots, and I thank you for sharing🫶🏻
Your flying brother. Winds & Feels and the groove for departures & landings. You are so “hooked” Passionate. Happy Highs!
Very inspirational video. You are a very mature (and daring) 16 year old. Well done.
10 + points for you first Solo flight😊 Hello from Finland ✈
Holy Moly! This kid can fly!
Hello from Phoenix, Arizona. I got my Private license at Phoenix sky Harbor many years ago. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
you're welcome!
Great!! Thank you for doing this video in English... you speak it well!
Wonderful....! The performance or Flight as well as the Pilot.....!
Wow. I’m speechless. Uber impressed. 💯
Haha, die KLM Cockpit Tales muziek! Ge-ni-aal!
Dankjewel!
I took flying lessons when I was about your age, but could not pursue my dream in aviation because of poor vision. So now I just enjoy flight simulator. It looks like you are having so much fun. Keep up the videos. I love sharing your adventures.
I am really sorry to hear that. Isn't there any possibility for surgery?
@@TheFlyingVin16 I am ready for retirement soon. I had a good career in healthcare, but I would rather have been in aviation. Best wishes to your success.
Thanks for sharing your ride. You are becoming a skilled pilot! And the quality of your videos is first class!!
Thank you very much!
Amazing!! Safe travels young man!!
Congratulations my friend, a wonderful and beautiful video 😍😍😍
Hello there young lad yip iv,e watched your first solo flight and now watching the second solo flight, i,m so happy for you. CONGRATS again and be safe always, I hope to see more solo flights soon. i,ve even subscribed so i can be in the action with you.
great job from Idaho USA
Well done young man, you will make a wonderful pilot. All the Best in your flying adventures. Always be careful and fly safely. Enjoyable viewing from over here in Australia 👍 🛩 Au
Reminds me of my first solo in Waseca, Minnesota August 16, 1971. Cessna 172, N3763S.
Congratulations, young man. You can't fake that smile.
Congrats again. I remember landing in a high speed crosswind once, it was pretty scary. Love the enthusiasm and keep up the good work!
The KLM Cockpit tales music is a nice touch! 🇳🇱
Thanks for posting another vid. Some channels will share their first solo and then nothing else. Looks like you have everything well under control. I would definitely love to ride along with ya. I don't think we are in the same country though 🤣 Have a great day!
You're welcome and thank you very much :)
Enjoyed seeing you having fun at something you obviously love …
First time I drove a car was a 17 just for five min got my drivers licensee at 25 so this kid is a truly a dude with some talent
Very well done !!
Nice landings. Just always remember to keep your rudder into the wind in a cross wind on touchdown. The fact that you have touched down doesn't mean that the wind is going to stop blowing you into the opposite direction to where you want to go.
Getthereitis can apply to training also. Nothing wrong with taking your time and gaining experience. It’s a hobby/lifestyle, not a requirement. It’s only life and death when you put yourself in those situations. There’s no old bold pilots, and you are nowhere close to old.
Brilliant well done very impressive you will go FAR in life.
Thank you very much!
@@Rockey-reloaded What do you mean?
This was enjoyable to watch! Well done young fella 😊
Leuke video’s!
I really love these videos! 🙌🏾 I hope I get to obtain a PPL one day too! ✈️💫
Hi from the UK. You did really well. cool video. I bet you are getting near to completing .
Thanks! Well, i am really not close ;)
Thank you for the flight. I only fly in MSFS 2020 but I like watching tral world GA pilots for proceedures etc.
Handsome! Making dreams come true is awesome!
Good job captain... I can tell yo fly by feeling, best way ti fly.
That's the way it is done! 😊
Thank you very much, Elijah. I am about to go to ground school and begin training. I did some as a teenager, but now that I am older and have great Army and VA pensions. I can afford it.
Well done young man, just smooth out that landing and you'll be mint.
nice flight my dads friend got his pilots licence when he was 14!
keep up the good vids
Nice!
I came along for your first two solos!
Nice to see this. I like the way it shows what you can do. I like the quality of the way you prepare the videos. I note that you speak English like an American, or at least that's what it sounds like to me. More comment later.
Thank you very much! I try to speak as much english as possible so that more people understand what i am saying.
@@TheFlyingVin16 Thanks for that, but you sound like a person who learned English growing up here. If you have never lived here, that is amazing.
I listened again to your spoken English. It is your opening comments in this video that sound American to me, but I pick up a slight accent in some other places. I call it an "accent" when it comes through my American ears.
@@TomCroke-v4s You're right! I am from the Netherlands and i speak Dutch. So that is why my english is a bit off sometimes:) But i try to speak it as fluently as possibe.
@@TheFlyingVin16 I'm certainly not criticizing your English. As I said, your opening words in this video sound like perfect English as spoken over here (USA). Other places where you speak English with a bit of a Dutch accent, that accent is very slight. I have long understood that most people in The Netherlands are bilingual (English and Dutch) but where the English is more like English as spoken in England, not quite as spoken in America. But you seem to have learned English as spoken here.
Nice! Watching from the US (Ohio). Stay safe and enjoy! You're going places....literally haha
Thanks! I appreciate it :)
You did so good
Well Done , You are Awesome
Safe travels....always.
I really like that you are serious about the checklist. I hope you become a successful ATP!
Welcome to club, started flying with my old man at the age of 9

Wow bro! Amazing! Heerlijk!
Amazing!! ❤
Toffe video gozer! Netjes gedaan✈️
What a guy! 👌
Future KLM pilot? Keep it up 👍
WOW Boy .. that's what I call "COOL" .. good job .. I always hat "white knuckles" with winds like this 🤣🤣
Nice job young man. You're having fun and have good safe habits. Keep up the hard work, you'll be rewarded kindly. But please don't get too wrapped up with youtube and social media.
If this young man is developing skills to build possible careers in flying and/ or developing inovations in the electronics industry, I don't see a problem. The piloting speaks for itself and this video is trulyprofessional grade. If he is spending all day playing computer games or roving through social media, that is another matter. It is hard for me to imagine a young man we see on these videos getting sidetracked with pointless hours on his computer.
agree It just seems to be a distracting trend with kids.
@@geeewiz2231 You are right about that. But the kids who get too involved with electronics are not so likely to have a major outside interest like pilot training.
Familiar song… is that the one used by klm in their inside the cockpit videos??? Hahaha keep up the good work bro! Simon, ramp agent in BGY !
That is Correct! :) Thanks for the comment Simon :)
Awesome
Keep this up and you'll be flying jets before long! Great video and appropriate music too! 😊
Thank you very much! :)
Awesome video!
20 is hot!!! That is very cold in my country 😂
During CPL the student pilot can be fly from right seat always
Vin, There's a youtube clip "Missionary Bush Pilot". He flies in New Guinea, You should check it out, every flight is basically a free flying lesson....scenery is amazing as he has about 5 cameras on the plane, offers computer training sessions...check it out
will check it out! thanks :)
your english is sooo good - almost as good as your flying 😉
hi love your youtube chanel and I want to be a pilot when I grew up❤
Rather, study hard and you will succeed❤🇮🇶
As a lifelong flight instructor, there is no way I would authorise a second solo in 'challenging' winds.
Why not? I mean, it might be helpfull for the student to practice with stronger winds.
@@TheFlyingVin16 I agree, but gently, gently, experience is not acquired in one go.
Like you a lifelong instructor/examiner. I would temper my decision to allow him to fly with my knowledge of his competence. He demonstrated that he was more than capable to handle the conditions although many others probably would not.
@@donsland1610 Agreed, but stronger winds are often associated with gusts and lulls. We both know that a sudden gust, especially if with a definite crosswind component just as the wheels touch down, can require a quick and accurate response. I would consider this level of almost automatic input is not acquired by the second solo flight. Also, who is carrying the can for a bent propellor, a dent in confidence, or worse?
💕
🤠 Young Gen Zed I Take My Hat Of To You 👍🏻👍🏻 Oi Oi Oi 🇦🇺
You are perfect
Very Nice you're a GREAT Flyer ⭐️ Would you fly a drone like the Jetson 1?
Im not sure but it definitely looks Nice!
Great video. Question. How do you steer on the ground?❤
with pedals that are on your foot
With the so called “rudder pedals”. To go right, you press the right pedal. But we also brake with the top of the pedals!
Absurdo uma criança pilotando um avião
Im Scare of Flying 🛩️ I can't 😂
You didn't shout 'CLEAR PROP' out of the side window before you started the engine. Just an observation. Is that not part of the start up procedure still?
It isn’t really a procedure unless there are people around the plane👍
@@TheFlyingVin16 - ok, but with some aircraft types (maybe not yours), there are blind spots at the front of the aircraft as viewed from the cockpit and there may be someone crouching down for example at the front of the aircraft which you may not be able to see. When I have flown with a couple of instructor friends of mine, they ALWAYS shout out ‘CLEAR PROP’ as a matter of habit really, whatever light GA aircraft they are flying that has propellers. Just my thoughts on it. As I said, it’s not a criticism, just an observation. Good luck with your future progress and hopefully career in the aviation world.
very nice ty :)
Once more congratulations! Did I get it well? Did you do two "touch and go's" before the "Full-Stop-Landing" or was it just the cut of the clip?
you are absolutely right! i did 2 Touch & go's and thereafter the full-stop. :)
w plane bro
I’m hoping to be a pilot one day, it’s my dream and has been for years ever since ever basically
I bet you will!
@@TheFlyingVin16 Ty!!
Must be nice to be 16 and rich. That's all there is to it
Well I swear I'm 16 and I have two cars but I don't have a plane what luck.😢
Mag ik je eerste passagier zijn?😅
Hello cpt, I'm 16 years old and I want to be a pilot, I'm from Brazil, I can't fly here if I'm under 18, but I don't want to wait any longer, any tips? I thought it was really cool that at least in other countries it is possible!
@@modoaviao655 I would suggest learning as much as possible now, while you're waiting to turn 18, through text books and training videos as well as spending time talking to pilots and other aviation enthusiasts about their experiences. This will give you a great idea of what to expect and some basic knowledge that you can use upon starting your formal training at age 18. Go for it! 😊
Helo I am Indian and you?
Hi I want to be a pilot in which country do you study pilot and how much and the name ? Plz 🙏
