Why not simply placing the fan near that heat sink? why didn't the architecture of the component wasn't built to allow a proper placement of the heat sink in that case, near the fan.

Hi, great vid. I am building a boundary fence at home and wanted to look at various paling layouts to see how this impacts the fences ability to shelter the garden from the prevailing wind. Theoretically a solid fence with no gaps creates more turbulence behind it whereas one with gaps has less. Would my study be external or internal? Could I set it up exactly like yours with a section of fence with various configurations? I want to do a basic study first so that I can see the reduction of wind velocity and patterns of turbulance in the yard but also downstream of the fence see if the wind will flow over or through the garden beds. The other complication is that there is another fence on the opposite boundary which I suppose I should include in a later sim to see how this effects the wind that passes through/over the first fence. I also want to see what gap size is the best to give me the best windbreak with the minimum of turbulence and I think I can use SW to test various gaps and give me the best answer. Similarly there may be an advantage of horizontal palings vs vertical ones and in the first instance smaller gaps at the bottom increasing to the top of the fence. Of course privacy is another consideration and is ultimately a trade off vs the efficiency of a the windbreak. Any advice on how to set up this analysis? Thanks

Is it possible to simulate the cooling time?
For example, I would like to find the time it takes for an aluminum pipe at 70 degrees to become 50 degrees. There is natural convection and the atmospheric temperature is 20 degrees.

Hello Sir, how did you import the PCB with the components inside solidworks progrm?, and is it possible to simulate the heat transfer for a PCB with 4 layers of copper wusing this program? (I use Altium PCB design, and I would like to simulate the heat transfer)
