The nice thing about them, to me, is that not every song leaves a stellar impression at first, but they definitely all grow on me at some point. Sometimes I feel like the new track is pretty average (relatively to this band) but there's a moment it will click, I'll hear more subtleties and recognize it's a banger just as much as any other song.
Same!!! I’ve come to realize that they in my opinion they have never released a bad or even average song they all have something unique but something that ties them all together. They’re all powerful
This band and Sleep Token are like that. I feel like I learn something new every time I listen to an album and I become even more entranced.

This is exactly it. I was introduced to Spiritbox through Circle With Me when I was first getting into metal. Thought it was ok and listened to a few more songs, but was mainly paying attention to bands like ITM and The Anchor. Then I revisited Spiritbox, saw the mv for Holy Roller, and that was it. I'm completely hooked, all songs on repeat 🤩
This whole EP is a masterpiece.

@@zacharywilliams3631 I think its just the nature of perhaps putting out too much content at once. Spiritbox seem to go silent for a while, dump a few songs/videos then repeat. I think if it was released seperately it would of gotten more attention. But give it another 5 months it'll hit 2 mil

The drums have such a massive sound in this song. So precise with the guitars. Together they drive the groove right into your bones. Courtney delivers as usual with crushing vocals that rip your head off and sh!t down your throat. I love her! The guitars are rich and full of crunchy goodness. Such a good vibe!
If you're into drum grooves you need to get on the Gojira train. Especially "Toxic Garbage Island" and "This Emptiness".

The band keeps leveling up, Courtney keeps leveling up, and she is more stunningly beautiful in every video. My mortal brain cannot handle such epicness.
I thought Cellar Door would be the only heavier song on the EP, but when this kicked in I knew Spiritbox would never have enough. Courtney is a Queen, a true inspiration. This band deserves everything. Thanks for exisiting.

The whole Fear of Fear EP is filled with pure brutal bangers, Angel Eyes is a great and straight to the screams song, love it.

what are you talking about? I think you're confusing the lack of any riffage with riffs being the same. Every metal band ever does 000s and bends like this, it's no coincidence you hear it in other songs, especially from the same band when they don't do much else.

Courtney is a driving force for female metal vocalists maybe, but the instrumentals of this band are very transparent and unoriginal. There's almost nothing there.

One of my favorite tracks on this release. It has been at least 20 years since I have found a band that I consistently enjoy as much as spiritbox
I saw these guys open for Shinedown a few months ago and they really grabbed my attention. IMO, they blew Shinedown out of the water. I'm an old metalhead (Metallica, Slayer,Machine Head, etc) and this band makes me happy as I see the newer generation embracing metal.
These guys are so damn diverse. I love it, never know what the song will sound like!

Man I love this band! I stated listening to metalcore in the late 90s early 2000s, so mostly the 2nd wave of bands. I was big into bands like KSE, AILD, Shai Hulud, etc. with my all time favorite metalcore band being Poison the Well. But I really haven't been into the genre in a long time, I think the last band I got into before I really stopped enjoying the genre was probably The Devil Wears Prada in their earlier days. Spiritbox along with Make Them Suffer are the only 2 "newer" metalcore bands I truly enjoy. For me personally they just have that metalcore magic that my ears want to hear.

I've followed Spiritbox for nearly 4 years now - they would do well going back to some of their early days, especially in the video department. All the videos now seem to be a variation on 'dark room/top light/additional gimmick.'
