My nephew who likes cRAP music knows who Zeppelin are , and likes their music.
Unfortunately he still listens to cRAP , I'm slowly starting to convert him to the music of the 70's .
      Zeppelin is a good start.
He needs to turn away from The Dark Side , & be a part of " The Church of Zeppelin "

It's true that Page did turn it into Midnight Moonlight for the Firm, but it's so much better as a Zeppelin song IMHO.

we know that most album downloads of all 70's artists have what they call, 'bonus tracks'
which are tracks the artist or band considered to be below the standard of the album. To me, Zeppelin is simply Zeppelin, with many influences outside the usual blues rock pigeon box. Good to find more here. Basically, more complicated rhythms and progressions confuse and infuriate rock purists who prefer simple crochet and quaver beats.

"Swan Song" on this list was later made, in part, into "Midnight, Moonlight Lady", the last song on The Firm's first album. Wow those Bonzo drums really made that magical.

The end of swan song sounds like midnight moonlight lady. These sound like recordings made while developing songs. Very interesting indeed. They were a wonderful group of accomplished players. Its nice to hear stuff that hasn't been overplayed on the radio. I really wish Jimmy would release some more songs they had developed but not released, from his vault of recoudings.

My younger brother & I played a lot of LZ in our band when we were young men. My brother passed 18 years ago. He was a great guy & a great bassist. I miss him, too, so much. Peace.

Here's the origin of each song.
Autumn Lake Was from The Song Remains the Same movie.
C'mon Everybody was taken from the 1970 Royal Albert Hall performance.
It'll Be Me (With Mick Ralphs) was from their North American Tour of 1977 (either the 22 May and 26 June show).
I Gotta Move was most likely from United Kingdom and Scandinavian Tour 1969 (Probably the 14 March show).
Swan Song was an unreleased song probably recorded in 1974.
I have no idea where Pipes And Flamenco is from.
The Long Tall Sally Medley is probably from the United Kingdom Tour 9 January 1970.
Georgia On My Mind is probably from the North American Tour 26 May 1973
Nut Rocker is from the June 7th, 1977 performance during the North American Tour of 1977
I don't know where Feel So Bad, Fixing To Die, That's Alright Mama is from.

I must say that listening to Led Zeppelin, which lives in popular music world but doesn't need all the marketing around them to be worth listening and enjoying, made me realize that music cannot stop and has to continue searching new directions. Even pop music can live without the glossy envelope.
Anyway, new directions and new music atmospheres specially gathering from the past is the best way to continue cultivating mind and spirit and that is what I found in a an almost unknown young italian group Promenade. Their first album , Noi al dir di noi, is surprinsingly good and filled with nothing but good music, like Crisantemo or Il Secondo Passo, but the first track -
Athletics - is my favorite track.
