The same goes for other hidden gems like "Here I Am," "Why," and "Born in a Trunk."
I only remember the name. Had never heard them before but sorry I missed out. Fantastic. I can tell that they influenced many bands. I can hear Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Argent
@@CB-xr1eg Salut/HI!!! what?T??&?? Uriah Heep copied Deep Purple.........Buddy, IMO. To me, without a doubt, Uriah Heep are way up front in matters of : 1)With the classic line-up I realise that Deep Purple, it's a rock band( almost any kind of rock) 2), I realise too that it is not the same with Uriah Heep; they don't make or play rock, nooooo!! the kind of music they play , I call it: Uriah Heep sound, cause it's UNIQUE ! definitely not the best band ever... did they bring down Shea Stadium? The stadium had to be torn down because Grand Funk Railroad made the stadium bounce and showed the instability. Number 2, Foghat, they also brought more energy tha UH. Uriah Heep vocals left alot to be desired, especially live. Only the 1st 5 albums were good, and the '75 live is excellent. The same goes for other hidden gems like "Here I Am," "Why," and "Born in a Trunk." Additionally, two songs from the Spice era, "Astranaza" and "Magic Lantern," (The Lansdowne Tapes) definitely deserved to be recorded by mighty Heep.
Yes, pulled and pulls me out of any depression I experienced. Happy music, Tie to Yes Demons& Wizards! When bands put on shows,,,More than just music and lights! 😁😁
Excellent live on my memory forever ❤️
One of the greatest rock band of all time, especially the album very heavy very humble
Super Musical Job, thank you, Sir!!!
Saw them in Nuremberg with Babe Ruth....all that hair running around on stage what a trip!!!!!!! Literally ...
They were my first concert in 1972. Tickets cost $5.50.
Rich, Those were the days we won't see again . Saw many bands back in the early 70s for 3 bucks & up to 5 . Say goodbye to shows at that price ,hell they change more for parking even . Miss those fun days but i miss those ticket prices even more. Saw The Allman Brothers in 1970 twice & tickets were 3 bucks !!!!
Me too! Calgary
Around the same time, Deep Purple....$2🤑
The era of the Organ with the 11 Gravel Setting.
Good morning, good ideas.
Hows this saw DeepPurple, Uriah Heep and Buddy Miles in January 1972 at North Carolina Cumberland County Arena.
There are a couple of flyers from that tour in the video. What a show!
I listen to this in memory of my brother in law..Mouse Gorman..may he R.I.P.
Peter myself, huge fans😍😍😍
I only remember the name. Had never heard them before but sorry I missed out. Fantastic. I can tell that they influenced many bands. I can hear Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Argent
If you hear Deep Purple it's because Heep copied them somewhat.
Have a good day....from Montréal
@@pierrebelanger8656 It's a fact. Both bands used to rehearse at the same place Heep heard what Purple were doing and got ideas from them. Sorry if this upsets die hard Heep fans but it's the truth.
@@CB-xr1eg Salut....Very first of all, forget about I'm upset cause you said so. If you find something of Uriah Heep IN Deep Purple ( I know Purple since theirs firsts 3 albums back in 1968 or 69) and when Ken Henlsey decide to write something, believe me it's way "upper deck" than Deep Purple You where right about 1 thing Deep Purple might sound like a few ones and, Up till today I never hear some songs who sound like Uriah Heep in any bands . Back in 1972 at the mystic Montréal Forum , my very first concert: Deep Purple & Uriah Heep, in 1974 Savoy Brown with U.H. and in 1977 or 1978: Uriah Heep WITH Jethro Tull, the concert of the century..To end it, I figure I know a little about the Deep Purple's sound and Uriah Heep sound, it's up to you to believe what I'm gonna write. D.P. and U.H. are not in the same class. Salut from ...,.Montréal
Sorry , I forgot something : When I'm talking about Uriah Heep I'm talking about Uriah Heep WITH David Byron and Hensley with the young baseman Garry Thain For the rest I don't care Bye!!
CAUGHT HEEP WITH ,NAZARETH, TULL ,YEARS AGO ,GREAT BAND LIVE
Buenísimo! Qué buen rato de música!
Muchas gracias! 👍
Gracias. 😊😊
Y también en los cassettes "super avilyn de 120 minutos" .... what a awesome time!
Mantap lagu2nya....👍🏻
Just a great band those years were the music was so rich!
GREAT FOREVER ❤❤❤
Sensational comp !!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Best band ever
definitely not the best band ever... did they bring down Shea Stadium? The stadium had to be torn down because Grand Funk Railroad made the stadium bounce and showed the instability. Number 2, Foghat, they also brought more energy tha UH. Uriah Heep vocals left alot to be desired, especially live. Only the 1st 5 albums were good, and the '75 live is excellent. Not even close to the best band ever, pull your head out, you know little...
,... Bro, next time please avoid to write shitty crap 😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢😮😢!!!! BERNIE GERMANY 😊
@@INUAGAIN Salut.....HI!!....I understand what you talking about: Grand Funk Railroad was in my 4 magic bands by that time and I know foghat ....I remember them back a loooonnnnggggg time ago and, if I remember well they open for Electric light Orchestra or Frampton comes alive .OK about your picks.....It's possible those 2 well, they are yours favorites bands by then???? IMO nobody will decide who's my fav. band I would say that : it depends who's ears is listening I just love GFR but I will never compares GFR with Uriah Heep. Cause Uriah Heep it's not a band only no ...U.H. yes, it's a band AND A UNIQUE SOUND!!! Some music that was totally new for me ( never been the same since my first concert back on Jan/20/ 1972 and it was Uriah Heep)...OK everything that I'm writing it's for the ;" dream team" or, the classic David Byron era Nothing else. I would never compare UH. with anybody ....Have a good day...from Laval Québec
