YUTA REALLLY LOOKS LIKE MALAYSIAN I THOUGHT HES MALAY AT THE FIRST SIGHT AND I WAS LIKE, 'WOW HIS JAPANESE NOT BAD', END UP HES A JAPANESE ALSO HAHAHAH
Born in Malaysia, been living in Malaysia for 17 years, didn't know there's Japanese barbershop here in Malaysia until i came across your video hahahah
If you didn't know, there are 3 ethnics in Japan actually. I think the ethnicity that you have in mind of Japanese people is Yamato, but not all Japanese are Yamato people.
OMG that guy really does looks malay! With his moustache and small beard, he can simply pass as a malay guy. All throughout the vid I was waiting for him to say "haha, I'm sorry but I was just messing with you earlier, I'm actually malay , gomenne."
I am an American moving from Tokyo to KL this summer and last week I already decided to go to place! The timing of this video is great, thank you Aki. :) By the way, is Yuta at the top level in terms of pricing? Also, I am a middle-aged guy. Did you see any customers my age there?
Malaysian living in Japan for 3 years, came back to MY and couldn't head back to Japan due to lockdown. My hair is so long right now... and yeah... youtube really suggests the video I NEED. Thanks Aki. アキさんありがとうございました。マレーシアにある日本の美容院ずっと探してたんです。この動画本当に助かりますwすぐ予約したいなw
The 2block hairstyle used to be popular back in the days of backstreetboys /dbz aired on Tv :Trunks. We call it 'slope dalam'(inner layer deep slope). Nowadays the retro style cut from 60-80s made a comeback
I love how the contents in your channel are so unique & different from other channels that share about foreigner living in malaysia. Esp the luxurious life that can be enjoyed by the expats in malaysia. Because we locals don’t really (choose to) experience that (due to price tag haha). But luckily we can know more from your channel & experience them virtually! Keep up the great contents! ❤️❤️
Number76 is too pricey for me so I've always wondered what its service is like. Now I know, thanks to you 🤩 PS: the hairdresser is Japanese? I thought he was Malay!
just something random: In my opinion, Malaysian hair salons are expensive and I am often not that happy with my cuts. I've tried many places but they are always the same, even if I showed a picture. Really hope that more hair stylist would actually care more about the customer's hair.
9:10 couldnt agree more lmaaooo, im sick of hearing the same song on the radio for like years straight, and also when a song was released like years ago but just got popular in malaysia after 1 year lel
I asked a hairdresser at a salon and she doesn't know how to do it or doesnt understand? Then she cut my hair like typical chinese teen, make a new hair line short no fade shave on side as it's spiky
First thing, I know Aki was from Japan. But, never thought that stylist is Japanese until I finish watch this video. I thought his ig name just for fun, but literally he is from Japan too after I rrad some comment. 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol if I walked into the salon and the stylist came up to me, I would've probably said. "Hi bang, nak cukur belakang dan tepi je." He really looks like a Malay! No offense intended.
I don't know bout you guys, but as a legit Malaysian, I've never been to a hairsalon before, and I am sure has never spent my money more than rm20 on a barber
About the overworking in Japan. It is because the population is much higher than Malaysia. So the profession that serves people like salon and restaurant are mostly busy. Also depends on their popularity.
I only went to saloon just to make a side and back short as possible and don't cut the top and front. If I want to make my desire hairstyle, I'll cut/ layer by myself. I'm mostly preferred japanese hairstyle for whole time 😅
Malaysian don't have this kind of hairstyle because up until age 17, school emphasise to have extreme short hair cut. After age 17 becoming an adult, it turns out some or most people prefer shorter hairstyle due to the hot weather. Also, since when you walk outside the mall, everybody's like that, it turns out having style in your hair doesn't actually make much concern. You rarely see girls here wear makeup all the time out or guy styling their hair out too
I was regular customer of 76 when I was in KL. The best colouring and the price you paid is not misleading unlike other saloons who try to sell things to you. I used to go to the Starhill one, I thought its gonna be super expensive there as it is a high end shopping place but turns out same price in other branches. But Starhill branch has moved to Tribeca next to Ritz Carlton do check them out. I was never disappointed by their service.
I felt so honored when he mentioned he wanted to work in JB because no one really cares about JB lol. It's always about Penang, KL, Malacca and Sabah, so I didnt expect that at all!
Hahaaaa... when i first saw the "Isetan" store i thought that the owner is so brave to name it.. because in malay Isetan is I'm Devil.. 🤣 Then i found out that it's from Japan.. 🤭
I have long straight hair and I wanted layered cuts cos it looks good on me. But for the past few years I keep showing pictures to many stylists in Malaysia and Singapore (all Chinese) and they KEEP GIVING ME STRAIGHT BASIC CUT instead of the layered that I asked for and showed picture of. Eventually I found a hair stylist in Cheras (her name is Lance, her shop is somewhere in Bandar Mahkota Cheras) who gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. She told me maybe the reason why a lot of hairdressers didn't want to do the hairstyle because my hair is thick, and it would take a lot of time to do that hair on me. I remember she took nearly 2 hours to cut my hair but it turned out BEAUTIFULLY up until today! Previous hairstylists told me that my hairstyle is hard to manage blablabla but they're oblivious to the fact that customers have been living with their hair since childbirth and they KNOW how to manage their hair. Hairstylists - if you don't want to do a certain hairstyle on a customer TELL THEM UPFRONT instead of wasting their time and in the end NOT GETTING WHAT THEY WANT. It's VERY hard to find an honest hairstylist in KL and Singapore. I strongly recommend Lance. She's a diamond in the rough.
Check indonesian barber style, its called "hairnerds studio" the first think they do when they start to cut hair is parting line hair, natural line hair every people is different...people smiling when they came out form hair nerds studio...
That barber is so use to Malaysia he starting to look like 'abang2' Malaysia.
Exactly bro. I thought he's a Malay at first 😂.
Kan 😂
I thought he was a Malay too 🤣
@anonymous tv fix ? What?
@anonymous tv that he is so comfortable/accustomed to Malaysian life
YUTA REALLLY LOOKS LIKE MALAYSIAN I THOUGHT HES MALAY AT THE FIRST SIGHT AND I WAS LIKE, 'WOW HIS JAPANESE NOT BAD', END UP HES A JAPANESE ALSO HAHAHAH

Yuta can disguise as a malaysian.. his face literally fooled me
with mustache and beard, can't really differentiate Yuta with your ordinary Malaysian, haha...
This hairstyle is actually popular among malaysian teen boys but parents dont allow it so uh its rare to see
I think is popular among Chinese. 2block hairstyle. Malay is getting popular. I personally rock this hairstyle and some of my friends too.
Ng Yat Sheng really? My school its the malays who have this hairstyle .
I don't think so..
@@milkyway6021 betul tu hahaa😂
Abdul Azim Azim say that to my friends
yuta actually my regular customer when im working at japanese restaurant in Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru.. didnt expect he already moved to KL..
I never thought I would enjoy watching people having their hair cut.
"Everybody is so laid back" hahahhaa we probably take this statement as a compliment 😂
Laidback until got lockdown 🤣
Ngl I do😂
That guy.. wearing a cap ..His face looked like Malay guy..
I thought the barber was Malaysian because he really looks like Malay people
If you didn't know, there are 3 ethnics in Japan actually. I think the ethnicity that you have in mind of Japanese people is Yamato, but not all Japanese are Yamato people.
WOW I LIKE MALAYSIA COUNTRY....WHO LIKE MALAY COUNTRY LIKE❤️
I guess malaysian women dont keep the bangs / fringe due to the hot and humid weather 😆
keeping bangs is fashion to middle school girls
@Einzbernねこ xd
Me on the other hand prefer not too have hair cuts too frequently so I just opted for no bangs (easier maintenance hahahaha)
As a malaysian, I feel him when he said Malaysia's EDM is 3 years old
Edm tu ape?
@@thelastwan3146 Electro dance music. Yang banyak remix dari lagu lain. Mostly indon remix
i guess everyone commented the same thing. the hairdresser at first i thought was a malay who can speak Japanese.
I,m from Malaysia but its to rare for me to find a Japanese saloon n thanks to you for making this video.. I'm love Japanese culture n styles 🇲🇾❤️🇯🇵
There are actually many Japanese salons in Malaysia.

It’s actually pretty cool from a malaysian’s perspective
The 2block hairstyle used to be popular back in the days of backstreetboys /dbz aired on Tv :Trunks. We call it 'slope dalam'(inner layer deep slope).

Aki is handsome no matter what hairstyle he has....great video content btw!
just something random: In my opinion, Malaysian hair salons are expensive and I am often not that happy with my cuts. I've tried many places but they are always the same, even if I showed a picture.

I came here after the one that u cut hair since mco... wow love the environment in this salon

Yuta look like Malaysian a lot. I thought he is a Malay at first.
Me too.. I skip a little bit the video and I said " giler power bahasa Jepun dia "
It’s always pressuring for me to ask for a haircut here cause I’m usually like “Uhh- buat tepi lagi pendek.... UUUHHHH”
Love your new look, Aki!👍🏻 It was good even after the cut before the perm.
i also haved two block haircut for only RM5 but you need to show the barber a whole tutorial vids lol
ps:I did that for real lol
I mean, that's hella cheap tho.
Same bruh,at my place only rm4😂
I asked a hairdresser at a salon and she doesn't know how to do it or doesnt understand? Then she cut my hair like typical chinese teen, make a new hair line short no fade shave on side as it's spiky
This is no hate. But i think barber in Malaysia is poor in consultation. The two block is quite rare but known a bit now
今、バイリンガ〜ルちかさん、マレーシアにプチ移住してますよね。ジブリおじさんもシンガポールからマレーシアに徒歩で入る!みたいな動画出していて、マレーシアブーム?!来てるのかも♥
Akiko M. マレーシアに来てよ!
Nice two block style Aki. If you are in Singapore, you can check out Shunji Matsuo which is a popular hair salon here in Singapore
You look so fresh with this new haircut 😍
Nice info bro. Will try at Japanese salon style
whoa Aki! imma have to find that dude! wicked awesome!
First thing, I know Aki was from Japan. But, never thought that stylist is Japanese until I finish watch this video. I thought his ig name just for fun, but literally he is from Japan too after I rrad some comment. 😂😂😂😂😂
next, you should try a local indian barbershop, haircut + scalp massage is game changer :)
If you didn't end up bleeding it's not professional enough
It really burns a bit for a while though
No please especially for his hair style it would be a bad experience
No don't please don't.... I'm begging you... Don't do it....

My dream is to have my top hair fluffy just like his. Really wanted to go to the saloon one day
