I found your channel recently because of your MCO videos. I teach in a private university in Malaysia and I have some Japanese students in my class. Your perspective was very fascinating because it helps me to understand what my students go through when they come to study here. I am sure the punctuality issue is a huge culture shock for all Japanese!
So true...Malaysians use rubber time which means itsas elastic as can be..but it seems to serve the society well..we r a happy lot, friendly and has low suicide rate..low depression rate(compared to countries like Japan n South Korea) ...come live in Malaysia ..we can all learn fr each other😊😊

Malaysia's new tagline should be 'cheap' for everyone else except their own citizens.
SOF CHASER or work with international company that know how to appreciate your skills. TBH once u get taxed in hundreds and have chances to work overseas then you learn to appreciate how cheap Malaysia to live is.

It's pretty much either the subtly untrustworthy folks or the drivers in malaysia that anyone would have to worry about however. That, and accidentally leaving even a small scratch on the surface of a car in a malay/indians/chinese only area.....
This guys nails it. I do hope that more Japanese people come and experience Malaysia. And not just live / work here but to influence our culture a little bit. Things like punctuality and keeping things clean. When I visit Japan some year ago I experience 1st hand Japanese culture of order and neatness. We celebrate all our differences here in Malaysia and I'm proud of it (especially the laid back nature) but we also can learn a few from them. I have Japanese friends in Tokyo who often visit Manila to practise his / her English. I kinda understand why they did that, but I hope they'll visit Malaysia too in the future. Keep up the good work Aki.
Malaysia needs Japanese as apart of the main culture in malaysia like the Chinese,Indians,Malays and Christians add Japanese and we gucci and also add more Japanese stuff in malaysia too
Err...that will not be possible. It is more likely we will be influencing them our way of life. Just imagine their conversation will always end with lah leh oh ah.
Ohh please dont. You dont hv to see in order to believe and to follow. We need to learn and understand everything first before we follow..dont blindly follow. We the Malaysians will not be able to follow THE JAPANESE. They need to learn to follow being MALAYSIAN in some part of their life. JAPANESE is too ROBOTIC. Malaysian is a Perfect-Imperfect Human.
Don't think that'd be possible. a lotta Japanese people choose to live abroad, especially in places like Malaysia, because they can't stand living in Japan, & most of their mainstream culture, in the first place. if said Japanese happens to be people who're actually fluent in English & other languages commonly used in Malaysia, they'd almost fit in right away, which means bringing very little of their original culture here.
I live in Malaysia and I'm very shocked because my country hardly ever have any recognition from other people, especially foreigners. So when this dude shows up in my recommendation, I legit almost cry.
The last point are my favourite points from your videos, though it should be looked as bad. But i can see the stresses in Japan's train stations where people are literally running to reach destination on time. I guess malaysian are more tolerant per say and that's why I love my country more ❤ hope you can get more Japanese to come to Malaysia and learn about our culture

I almost fell the most he talks about our punctuality. Alright this is the area where we really need to improve.
I laughed so hard at the last point hahaha. I'm a punctual person but its a comfort to know when you couldnt be on time, most of the time people let it go quite easily

My room is 400 and I wish it could be cheaper.

I found your channel recently because of your MCO videos. I teach in a private university in Malaysia and I have some Japanese students in my class. Your perspective was very fascinating because it helps me to understand what my students go through when they come to study here. I am sure the punctuality issue is a huge culture shock for all Japanese!
So true...Malaysians use rubber time which means itsas elastic as can be..but it seems to serve the society well..we r a happy lot, friendly and has low suicide rate..low depression rate(compared to countries like Japan n South Korea) ...come live in Malaysia ..we can all learn fr each other😊😊
meanwhile us Malaysians tryna go on holiday to Japan be like "everything 3 times more expensive oh god"
This is why I told my kids to work hard so that they can work overseas to earn in GBR, USD or even UAE dirham, don't give up Msian citizenship and come back to Msia after 30+yrs to retire so that they can enjoy 'cheap'cost of living.
Malaysia's new tagline should be 'cheap' for everyone else except their own citizens.
SOF CHASER or work with international company that know how to appreciate your skills. TBH once u get taxed in hundreds and have chances to work overseas then you learn to appreciate how cheap Malaysia to live is.
back from the first world countires.. ofc it going to be profit from the exchange..that like Bangladesh or Indonesian work in Malaysia to send money back to their countries..
My first guess was: NO NATURAL DISASTERS.
It's pretty much either the subtly untrustworthy folks or the drivers in malaysia that anyone would have to worry about however. That, and accidentally leaving even a small scratch on the surface of a car in a malay/indians/chinese only area.....
yes most probable reason japan too many natural disasters being located in the "RING OF FIRE" and KARMAforthe atrocities they committed during WW2
My first guess was like :
*F O O D*

Wish more Japanese come to Malaysia bring and influence good value of their county to ours. So we can be advance same as them.
Malaysia needs Japanese as apart of the main culture in malaysia like the Chinese,Indians,Malays and Christians add Japanese and we gucci and also add more Japanese stuff in malaysia too
You don’t need anyone to bring in the values, start from one self
Listening these things from a Japanese...Makes me really grateful to have Malaysia as my home country.
