I'm a straight man and even I enjoyed every minute of this movie. It's pure masterpiece. I watched it with my girlfriend and I and we both loved it and now it's become her favorite movie. As a 56-year old gay man, this movie is a personal 'obsession' - not in a bad way, but because it is everything I wanted as a tormented teenage boy in the late 70's/early 80's with nothing to guide me. This movie is simply gorgeous. The chemistry is beautiful for sure, but I truly love the story - it was not forced or stereotyped. It felt so organic and real. I have watched it numerous times and am still moved by it. I'm envious. This truly is a necessary movie. I had "Making Love" in 1981 at 14 years old and I was lucky I got to see 2 men in the shadows kiss and undress each other and flirt playfully and that got me through my teen years. Had I been able to be led by this movie, I may actually be happy today instead of a lonely old troll.

That is why the movie is so good. That chemistry is what every director prays for in their actors. It was so genuine and read thru the camera into the audience watching.
This movie was as close to perfection as it gets… the script, the acting, the directing, the sets, the whole package. Really hoping they do a follow up where one is president and the other is the stand in king until his nephew is of age, would be great to explore!!

The thoughtfulness of Nic & Taylor's attention to the portrayal of their characters makes them seem like real people in their own right. Their performance is outstanding, and after all these views, I am still emotional during the different scenes. Also to all the supporting actors and actresses who played very engaging and believable characters as well, thank you so much. I really hope a sequel comes of this. This movie is very relatable to so many people, and a more positive one to closeted individuals, I can only stand and applaud. Thanks to cast and crew. This deserves many awards.

The chemistry between Nicholas and Taylor is what made the film fantastic; but ALL those scenes cut by the director; the one with the ice cream, the breakfast together after Alex went to get Henry back in London but ESPECIALLY the one with the conversation in front of the bonfire in the Alex's vacation home in Texas and Henry's wonderful, emotional and extraordinary "monologue" (which would have given better insight into the words Alex repeats to Henry in his room when he arrives in London in the storm) will be missed FOREVER!!! Especially because Nicholas in that monologue thrilled us like crazy... I can't forgive the director "his" would have slowed down the "rhythm" of the film. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE also due to the lack of respect towards Nicholas in first and foremost and in all of us spectators: 3 or 5 minutes more certainly would NOT have sent Amazon Studios into misery and the film would only have benefited from it!!!

I noticed the lighting in the after-hours museum segment and really thought it was great for the scene. Turned out really well, not sure why the director wanted to use movie lighting.

As an older gay man it's great seeing these 2 str8 boys playing these rolls with no inhibitions. Their (the actors) obvious friendship and professionalism shines through every scene and make the whole package entirely believable. Good work boys.
