Such a cute little backstory! I love Milton and in my mind, the dad is a bit like Belle's father in Disney's Beauty and the Beast: loving and kind, but also chaotic and absent-minded. As I imagine it, Milton is obviously the one who keeps all things in order around the house. The daughter's bedroom is really very, very sweet, and the colour scheme is perfect! I never go for anything like that either, but it works so well! Funnily enough, I built a house for a tinkerer and his daughter in the past, too, but it was vastly different from this one (more like a workshop with a cute little house on top). I also created both of them and loved playing with them, als their relationship was so loving and they had so much fun together. As she grew up, the daughter started a garden and built her own rocket ship in the backyard, while her father was an engineer. Now the daughter is a single parent herself and has inherited the workshop after her father's passing, and her son is a teenager preparing for university. I think gameplay is actually the most fun in The Sims 4 with no more than 1 or 2 (or maybe 3) sims, so you can really focus on them. All the households I still enjoy playing with are very small, so I try to keep it that way from one generation to the next. (Sorry for my rambling; I got a little carried away! Your build and video are obviously very inspiring!)

Im absolutely obbsessed with the storyline, it feels like a DCOM and the house goes perfectly with it, I think this was honestly a really unique build! I love builds that look ordinary but hold so much more inside, it makes storytelling in the sims so much fun! I always look forward to your builds, keep it up :)
Love the house! The home looks really realistic and I like the interior. It's a very cozy and warm feeling :) The one thing I would add would be a driveway. I always try to include them in my houses because it makes them even more life-like
I think it would be so lovely if he was a teacher and him and his daughter go off to school together and come home and have some family time, I feel like they’d be so so close 🥺💜
I love that a lot of your builds are similar style but not at all the same. I love the suburban style and like my neighborhoods to be the same style but not look repetitive in any way. That’s impossible for me to accomplish but your builds get my neighborhoods looking exactly how I want. So there’s nothing wrong with having a preferred style and you do it well!
I am just throwing this out there.....could you do the Honey I Shrunk the kids movie house?? I think you would be so creative with it. It's one of my most favorite movies. I know it doesn't show the bedrooms of the kids, but since the movie shows their personalities, I think you would do such a good job at showing that through your build. It would be such a cool build. Love all your builds!!

Eee! This is adorable! This is exactly the family dynamic I just used, it would have been perfect! I'm tempted to restart my legacy (again) just so I can use this house. It feels like there would be a lot of love in this house, and that's all because of your attention to detail and storytelling.
I wish I had sims 4😭 her builds are perfect I’m not a fan of those wooden floors but the way she uses it makes me feel good about using them in sims FreePlay

I’m thinking I’m gonna add this house to my gameplay but I’m gonna have two daughters(1 teen girl/1 girl child) and they’re the complete opposite. The dad was inspired to be the in robotics because his wife was “ill and couldn’t move around the house to perform household chores like she used to” hence why he built the servo in the beginning. But unfortunately she passed away. The dad devoted his life to building servos. The child sim is gonna be the inspiration to the aesthetic of the servos because that was the only way she could spend time with her dad. The teen is somewhat rebellious and isn’t in the house most of the time because it’s painful for her but is secretly working hard to go to uni and become a doctor and help people like her mother. ALSO - I know we don’t know each other but someone once told me that the reason why we encounter ‘blocks’ is because we have a style true to our creativity and inspirations. And we go towards the direction that feels comfortable and familiar to us hence why it’s feels like a ‘block’. We end up not focus on the visualization of our creativity but the emotion behind it. Your builds are all unique but true to you!!!
But if you did the same belt you’re doing now, there’s only one bass game. Some more people can get it because I don’t have any mods and I can’t get your amazing looking belts.
