- Mari nation is the aborigines ethnic group of Finno-Ugric people. Mari was the first population which had appeared in the 1st century before russian came to their land and made it as Russia in the 9th century. Many things and ideas were stolen from Mari by russian and tatar-mongol (both of them did a lot of violance in Mari El with Mari people). We try to stop the genocide and the russification of Mari in the 21st century!!!

I don't know about that so-called Finno-Ugric people. Although, the Mari is considered both Caucasian and a different ethnic, in the 1990's, the Mari people looked Asian Caucasian mixed, but still predominantly Asian looking. However, because of mixed breeding overtime, the Eurasian looking Mari descendants started looking white and are considered Caucasian. Nowadays, they looked predominantly Caucasian, but are still mixed. Today, if you looked hard enough, you will see 1 in 5 Mari people, mainly among the older folks, or boys and men still resemble mixed European Asians. You could just tell they are part Asian. You can also still find predominant Asians today among the Mari people who also considered themselves Asian in RUclips clips.
To be talking about "so-called" and "not so-called" peoples, you must learn the criteria first ((((

@@user-ci4yw7vh1d геноцид - это когда турки миллион армян мирных жителей вырезали за пару дней. А после завоевания Казанского царства Иваном Грозным что татары, что черемисы жили дальше на своей территории. Я вот родился в городе Буй Костромской области, основан он в 1536 году в целях защиты восточных рубежей от набегов казанских татар(черемис стало быть тоже), но я же не обвиняю татар в геноциде русских. В той же Костромской области ветлужские марийцы жили и живут, никто их не трогает
