HisoutenShorts: Anti-Airs (Basics)

  • This is a "Context-ful" kind of topic, something that I can't achieve in a Short, meaning that this entire short is only able to give you the surface idea of how to "Anti-Air" in Hisoutensoku, nonetheless, it is better than not knowing anything at all.
    Now, with that said, an interesting rule to always keep in mind is that you should be reacting to Projectiles or Jumps with one of these options, as both lead to "Air Movement", which is what you want to counter in the first place.
    A very strong trick is Dashing Forward when the opponent does any of the aforementioned things, especially Projectiles, as this will allow you to easily go behind them and dodge any dangerous interaction.
    That aside, different characters will have an easier/harder time setting up their own Anti-Air based on which Normals they have access to, though I would say this is fairly common even in other Fighting Games so...
