This is awesome. There are not a lot of channels that go into the depth and detail of these groups like this one. I also saw your best/worst flag and emblems video. I'm curious what you think of the UNSC's emblems both the old and new one. Also would love to see you guys do the Covenant themselves or the separate species like Sangheilli.
The UNSC emblems were probably our most requested, I really regret not including them in our flag video. However, I think I would have disappointed a lot of people, the original UNSC emblem gets a solid "meh" from me and the newer version is atrocious. Maybe we'll do a special follow-up video where I can go more in depth about it.
*coughs* Most destructive war in Galactic History? I think two other wars in the Halo Universe would massively out due the UNSC/Covenant War; The Forerunner/Ancient Humanity war, which lasted for hundreds of years alone, and the Forerunner/Flood conflict, which had the Forerunners touch off novae, and routinely lose fleets of millions of ships in doomed attempt to stop the flood... and ended with the Forerunners killing everything sentient in the entire galaxy when they set off the Halo Array. Compared to those wars, amongst being who are damned close to being gods, Humanity and the Covenant fighting each other looks like a playground fight.
Imperator Franque ... I asked 'who are you' due to you asking 'why are you like this' kinda as a offer to explain that comment... but I guess it went over yer head
This channel’s really fantastic! The videos are all extremely well put-together, have impressive & well-synched video, and the music always brings it all right together!👍🏻 I also like the different scripts passing by in the intros; Cyrillic in the Yuktobanian one made me happy!😀
"The galaxy has no shortage of mysteries, and some are best left undisturbed". That's a great quote. Hey maybe that can be the channel's quote or something like that.
I like that once the war was over they went back to just being the military, rewarding the trust placed in them. Also as I recall in "the fall of reach'" the halcyon-class is a heavy cruiser, the lightest class in fact to carry the heavy cruiser designation.
This channel is one that I'll subscribe and like for. These videos are entertaining to watch and listen to. This is a chilling story of what can be or not. It's poetic justice the way you describe our ruin and downfalls. This is what I think would happen if we're able to colonize the stars. Covenant happened but what if?
My only issue, is calling the human covenant war "the most destructive in galactic history". The Human-Forerunner war was vastly more destructive. And the Forerunner-Flood war even more so.
I would really like to see one about the brotherhood of steel. while information is often known about various groups your production quality makes rehearing information in a solid chronological order definitely worth the watch

A small note, but the Navy was also actually responsible for aquatic combat too. Ground-based forces on several planets were able to call in help from "wet" vessels and their guns.

True Story mate
Why are you like this?
Imperator Franque ...who are you?
Franque.
Imperator Franque ... I asked 'who are you' due to you asking 'why are you like this' kinda as a offer to explain that comment... but I guess it went over yer head
This channel’s really fantastic! The videos are all extremely well put-together, have impressive & well-synched video, and the music always brings it all right together!👍🏻
I also like the different scripts passing by in the intros; Cyrillic in the Yuktobanian one made me happy!😀
Every time I come back to this channel its at least doubled its subscriber count, if not more. Keep up the good work Templin!
This is like a text book best video ever, so detailed halo is my favorite alien invasion universe, even as a game way better then the tommorow war
I just love hearing about the lore behind halo and the narrator's voice helps depict the story.
This channel is one that I'll subscribe and like for. These videos are entertaining to watch and listen to. Just hits the right spot when it comes to small and big details, explained fluently and expertly; having an understandable and clear voice throughout the video is one of the best things to hear. Love it👌🏿
As a Halo fan I love you for doing this! Very good video and liking the rest on your channel! Time to binge!
"UN forces achieved many stunning victories." Lmao
lol
My god that joke actually did pretty well for a change
In the future...when all goverment unite and give UN absolute authority
Always gotta love the spread of Halo lore!
Guys...Halo is fucking awesome.
And this video...is fucking awesome.
Dirty Money Man Agreed!
You, my fellow halo fan, are so right
You guys are the best story tellers
Samuel Kerby What about the storyteller? I mean it's in his name
I am a total lore nerd and finding this channel made my week.
I Love this video and this channel. The Quality of the video reflected a professional production and for a while I was confused as to why 343 had released a historical video of the UNSC, but it was the Templin Institute. Beautiful video and beautiful channel. A sub from me!
This is one of my favorite videos. It would be awesome if our future military looks like this
It was by far one of the best videos i've ever watch about Halo, congracs!
This is a chilling story of what can be or not. It's poetic justice the way you describe our ruin and downfalls. This is what I think would happen if we're able to colonize the stars. Covenant happened but what if?
As always, a very beautiful and
atmospheric video! Keep up the good work!
My only issue, is calling the human covenant war "the most destructive in galactic history". The Human-Forerunner war was vastly more destructive. And the Forerunner-Flood war even more so.
Yeah you're right. I think we sacrificed accuracy for dramatic language on that one.
Most destructive in KNOWN galactic history, perhaps?
Most destructive in Modern Galactic history?
Orchestra Of Ruin I'd agree with that.
that was the ancient humans, from before our time
I've never been so hyped for a video before
I would really like to see one about the brotherhood of steel. while information is often known about various groups your production quality makes rehearing information in a solid chronological order definitely worth the watch
Another excellent video! Love your attention to detail and overall quality for such a small channel! Keep it up!
Been playing Halo ever since CE came out, and I've got to say, you guys really hit the nail right on the head on this video (minus the 2053 pickup, but we'll let that slide lol).
Would love for you guys to do a video based souly on the Spartan programs if you haven't already.
Also, your Warhammer 40k video was very informational; made me a fan from it. Keep up the great content, and have a Merry Christmas!
A small note, but the Navy was also actually responsible for aquatic combat too. Ground-based forces on several planets were able to call in help from "wet" vessels and their guns. The Wombat drones in ODST were launched from aircraft carriers in the waters around Madagascar for the most par, for example.
This is the moment to be united, and stop attacking the countries for own resource.
Be we evolve or we die.

RandomStranger_3 That's a good list!
Thx. It took me an hour or two to come up with this list but I'll admit that it is still lacking. Btw, there's a new video that was posted three or four hours and it was the Brotherhood of Nod from Tiberium Sun. Great video, check it out. If you have suggestions, post your reply there in my list that was posted few minutes ago. I'll see you there.
Galactic federation (metroid)
Corneria (star fox)
Awesome video! I love the slick professional feel to your videos! It would be interesting to see you do COG from Gears of Wars or something of that nature
It’s 2008 and your playing the halo campaign with your brother at 10 on a summer night
Good memories
Ah yes Great representation of our Command!!!
This channel is an absolute gem.
Always a big Halo fan, this was very well done
Fuck, I'd forgotten how sweet Larissa's voice is for things like this. She'd make a killing in the ASMR field lol
bravo, very well done, one of the best I have seen so far and the fact that you focused on the lore makes it even better, the fact that you also cover the aspects that sparked the insurrection, tank you I have seen the UNSC described as nothing more than an inconvenient tool our a corrupt power mad force, but you went to the core, bravo, hats the music in the video?
1:59 - The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) are a special operations arm of the UNSC Marine Corps.
The Spartan IIs, IIIs, and IVs are a part of NAVSPECWEP arm of the UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence.
Any chance you guys can cover the Sith Empire? The one that stretches from SWTOR?
My god this channel is amazing. Just from your awesome presentation combined with your background themes and visuals make simple storytelling like this so emotional. It's amazing, and I'm subscribing
I like your content and you keep me interested in these worlds and realities.
Fantastic graphics, music and narration. Well done.
I'm so glad you guys are growing quickly; the amount of effort and time put into these videos is really apparent due to the fantastic editing and writing.
Great video! I like your narration - very clear and succinct. My one critique is you sound so serious! I'm not sure if that's intentional, but I think a more jovial tone would be great!
Keep up the good work :)
Space governments are serious business.
Two notes: first, the Spartan branch also includes numbers of the Spartan 2 super soldier program. Second, the most destructive conflict in MODERN Galactic history. When you factor in the forerunner ancient human war and the Forerunner flood war from the expanded lore the human covenant war is nowhere near the most destructive conflict in galactic history.
This was a good video and I like how you guys included the music “Final alliance” by tenacious orchestra while talking about the United Nations Space Command (UNSC). I enjoyed the video and I hope to see more from you guys. Keep up the good work.👍
I love your work! Keep it up.
This is probably your most well done video yet. Keep up the good work.
UNSC
Halo - united nations space command
Reality - united nations security council
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The sheer amount of quality is seldom found on RUclips! Keep it up T.I.
Adeptus Custodes, please.
Edit: How the heck did that end up as a reply to this comment.
Mechanicum of Mars with the most respectable position of Fabricator General do support this.
[FABRICATOR GENERAL.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING]
**aroused snickering**
This channel is lovely for a lore nerd like me, I would like to see the Empire of the Isles at some point.
This is Spartan Group Omega, if they want war, we'll give em war.
Halo has one of the greatest story lines ever
Please do the imperium of man from 40k and the Greater Nazi Reich from the man in the high castle
The trouble with the Imperium of Man is that there would be so much to cover, but so much of it is contradictory, owing to the way 40K lore has been revised so many times over the years
Woah they did both
This is a great video. keep up the amazing work!!!
You should make more Halo videos like this. Keep up the good work ;)
These video are so well written and presented. This is triple a quality. Hats off! Thank you!
You guys make great content and the halo universe is cool.
This was awesome. Great summarizing.
I like your institute videos, I always liked listening to clinical archive like videos like these. Perhaps you could do the SCP Foundation, it has a large lore behind it and it operates in secrecy in their own universe.
The first order would be interesting otherwise an in-depth look into the Covenant empire and its prophets would be interesting. But hey keep the videos coming no lie one of the better RUclips channels that I like to watch when it comes to lore halo or otherwise
More of halo and the unsc you guys sound so professional
Man I just found this channel and I’m in love with it
Are you guys gonna do anything from the Warhammer 40K univserse or nah? I'm still gona watch regardless but It'd be cool if you did.
Im ready for a 50 minute video
I'd like to see the Imperium of Man in there.
That would be awesome.
I’d recommend Vaults of Terra in the meantime.
wolvez28 .... only 50 minutes ? Heretic !!!
Great video, this isnt just some wiki reading, you guys put effort into it!
As for suggestions, please cover The Universal Union (Half life), The Tripods (Book series), and The Combined Syndicates of America (Kaiser-Reich)
Man, I love this channel!
Remember Reach.
Fantastic piece. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Would be awesome to see a video on the Spacing Guild or the great houses of the Dune universe, especially the generations long hatred and rivalry between Atreides and Harkonnen.
Tyor'zaln the Eternal yes yes yes!!!
Tyor'zaln the Eternal such a video would be worth its weight in spice!
the discovery of the UNSC: The covenant’s first and last mistake
I really like the narrator
