i'd also recommend using the color lookup mask to give digital photos a vintage look ! it basically replicates the style of old film cameras and I've found that it can rlly bring everything together nicely
Making custom KISS posters for me me my friends we love band posters and don’t have the money to buy the big good quality posters but I have an uncle with a printing company and I have some photo shop skills…thanks for this video it really helped
Hey Jesse! Do you think you could do a video on how to build up a portfolio or even show off what your portfolio may look like for those who are looking for ideas? Otherwise amazing work and job on your take on the 80's Style Vintage
Ok I like this guy a lot - but its so fast and you have to be super advanced. Anyone have channels recs for people doing these a little slower, walking through etc. For vintage look/feel type things (IE Posters) etc?
Where did you copy the context that you put in on your paragraphs text? Can I just search on random websites and copy paste it on my personal work ? :)
Hey i have a question plz which isnt relevant to the subject and hope i get a reply from you. my threshold doesnt really give same result as other tutorials i follow here and there. i mean not very detailed even on high rsolution pix ,any tip on how to fix that in photoshop or should i upgrade my windows or anythin like that.what do you advise me to do ? and thanx
Depending on your results it could have something to do with the resolution of the document. Lower or higher resolution will have potentially different dramatic results.
would have appreciated it if you have shown and explained what you did step by step in the video instead of just saying them and cutting them out ... cool vid anyway

Nice one Jesse! Came out looking great, definitely an authentic style. Kudos for tackling all that faux-copywriting lol
Glad you liked it!! That copywriting was the hardest part hahahaah
Why didn't you use content aware fill to extend the image? I think it could work
Yea, normally I would have but it was coming up with some strange results so I had to wing it.
From an era before Chat GPT and Generative fill.

You place the photo above the rectangle in the layers panel and then right click the photo and select “create clipping mask”
@@JesseNyberg thank you!!
What program do u use
When you sell these posters do you not have any issues with copyright
Jesse, why do you do full page layout in Photoshop?
For Ease of workflow and simplifying the video. Sometimes I do part of the layout in illustrator though.
Is there a copyright law or policy for reusing these images ?
