How to replace patio screen

In this video I'll show you how to replace patio screen. My patio screen was all ripped up in the lanai so I wanted to learn how to fix it. Once, I tried it I realized how easy it is and wanted to share with you guys. Let me know what you think.

Love this video! Do you think I can replace the old, flat spline with round spline, as long as it fits in the channel? Or should I try to find some flat spline the same exact size? We have one of those old school south Florida patios…..thanks!

I think flat spline will probably hold up better since the slot was made more for that instead of the round. You can find the splice fairly affordable from amazon. amzn.to/3rIfRFT

Round spline will not hold properly in a flat spline channel from what I've read. Besides possibly blowing out I don't think the round spline will tension the screen correctly. Flat spline is not hard to install if you do it right. Using clips is the best way to position your new screen material as was demonstrated in this video.
