Another great review. Thanks for taking the time to make it. And a BOIG thumbs up.
Thank you!
For anyone wondering I tried it with my INSTA ONE R and it works aswell ;)
amazing! I'd love to see this setup with the 360 lens too to see if it works :)
Why not use a USB C cable to connect the DJI Mic Rx to the Insta360 Mic adapter USB C port?
I tried this and couldn't get it to work. Maybe a firmware update will fix it in the future?
@@HesDeadJim yeah, the usb is not an audio port. Has to be the RCA port.
@@AndreLaurentMTB feels bad, as it totally could be done through software. The DJI mic supports it, and it's so convenient for switching from phone to PC
If you go with the Comica Vimo C its cheaper and world just as well for audio.
What program or app did you use to edit the video, almost every video of this set up I’ve seen the quality of the video always looks super grainy but this video looks really good!
Hello, this setup work in Mono mode only ?I can't setup Stereo
The Audio level bar will not appear on my device not sure what my problem is.
They used to have a larger battery base with had flip out mounts on the bottom with the One R. This might explain the careless option.
is it possible to have the screen facing forward so i can see myself being recorded?
Yes, you just reorientate the lens so it faces you. Part of the beauty of a modular design.
I bought the Hollyland Lark M1 pack of two microphones, and one of them work correctly, but the other one doesn't catch any sound. I thought that microphone should be broken, and I changed the pack, and the second unit had the same problem, one microphone works and the other one not, so it's a problem of compatibility. Have you verify if both microphones works separated and together? Insta360 says they don't know if DJI Mic is compatible...
Is this mic set up water resistant? Needing something for moto vlogging on an atv
I bought 3 of the adapters and every one will not work with the 3.5mm cable plugged all the way in
I've been planning on getting the DJI Mic...and, I've been looking to get another, preferably smaller, action cam (my GoPro 8 Black is to large to mount on most RCs, plus it has no 'invisible' selfie stick option). The Insta360 One RS was already one of my two "finalists"...but, I'm thinking, it should be my "winner".
Its a great camera, but it's not smaller than the GoPro. For your RC you may be better suited with something even smaller, such as the Insta360 GO 2 or the DJI Action 2 - depends upon the size of your RC gear!
@@iftibashir For small vehicles (ie. smaller than 1/10), I agree...the Go 2 is probably best (and something I was also considering). I could probably use the Go 2 in 1/10 vehicles, but not sure how it's stabilization ability is. For larger vehicles (Traxxas Sledge, and larger), and for most of my boats (with the cam inside the "floating housing"), I've used the GoPro...but, the stabilization is 'fairly good', it isn't 'great'. That's why, for 1/10, and larger, I've been wanting to get something else...something with better stabilization.
As I said, already planning on getting the DJI Mic. While it's definitely a 'plus' to be able to have the audio combined with the video, it's also sometime that can be done during editing. One of the advantage of using the DJI Mic is that each of the two mics included has its own storage. Such also makes it easier to record audio (ie. talking) when shooting drone footage, as opposed to "creating" audio during the editing process.
@@iftibashir Upon further review & research, I've decided to follow your suggestion...and, at the same time, to go in a completely different direction. In comparing the X2 & One RS, the X2 was the 'lesser' model. Plus, I really liked the modular design of the One R/RS.
However, since that point in time, while I still like the modular design, I'm less interested in the 4K Boost & 1" modules. The 360 module became my primary interest...which led me to start researching the X3. I realize the X3 costs more than the One RS with the 4K Boost & 360 modules...but, the X3 has far superior 360 sensors.
So, I'm strongly thinking the X3 will be the better choice. At the same time, I'll still be getting the Go 2, as I mentioned previously, as it's the 'better' option for small RCs (especially vehicles/vessels as small as the Mini-B, my Mini-Z cars, SCX24, and my 'micro' boats).
Hey ..why did you connected the mic cable to headphones port and still recorded, headphones port is for monitoring right
The 'out' port is for the audio output
@@iftibashir there is headphone icon so I thought it's for headphone monitoring
He connected it incorrectly in the video at 1:43 but commented correctly. The cable needs to be plugged into the "out" socket, not the headphone socket as shown in the footage. Headphone socket is indeed for monitoring, and can have it's output adjusted independently for volume and headphone impedance.
It's only digi wireless anything wireless we could use plase tell sir
Very Cool! 😎
what about the Insta360 One R
I wonder the same thing! Do you know it? Also the mic adapter they sold me it was slightly different
update: I try it, IT WORKS!
@@AnnaGR89what mic adapter did you use?
I was about to mention you stole your B Roll footage from another RUclipsr.... Then realized it was from another of your cool videos I'd watched last week 🤣
Lol - just thought it gave something more interesting to look at rather than watching me ramble on!
Thanks for watching!
