I think of this work as a random collection of phrases overheard and some pithy comments, all wrapped in a musical blanket that is sometimes at odds with the emotional mood, sometimes not. Is it poetry? I just love it, all of it.
Song as story. Like any one worth its salt, whenever I get to the end of it, I'm spent. In a really good way. Can't remember the last time I was this excited for a debut album release.
