Thanks guys for watching! I actually wanted the wood stain to be lighter but it didn't turn out that way. It's easier to see what I could have changed now that it's finished. Overall I like the uniqueness of the piece.
I love to do things different and not mimic how someone else has it. That's just who I am. I encourage you to be creative when trying projects. Many times they don't turn out the way you envisioned but that's the beauty of it. It may turn out better than you thought. My hopes are that you can take my idea and make it your own. Customize it to how you like it and step outside your comfort zone.
treshaja that is so true. Often things don't turn out how I pictured, but I will learn a lot for the next time. This project could be used as a headboard, room divider or even a privacy screen type thing on a patio
These are such great ideas!! Love it!!
I love this.
treshaja where's the link. i want tht saMe style you said gap frm csi.. wht?
wherez the link
Have you ever considered being an interior decorater? Specializing in helping people who are on a budget or have very little money. You are a good teacher.
+kate in montana Aww..thanks Kate! I've thought about that briefly in the past. I would love to do that and share it with everyone. That's a great idea, for sure!
We have been stumped on finding/creating something large enough (but removable) to hide electrical boxes in my mom-in-law's living room... this.is.perfect! Your creativity is inspiring, your videos are informative and I sincerely appreciate that you are open to suggestions and you are so stinking sweet!!Keep doing what you're doing!!
+melissa sams That's so great, Melissa!!! Thank you so much for the lovely compliment. I really enjoy what I'm doing and love exchanging ideas with everyone. I truly appreciate you. You definitely motivated me! Blessings 💕
I would've spray painted the panels a metallic copper color and then i would have outlined on the top in a teal paint to make the 3-d effect pop out more and give a compatible contrast with the teal and the copper.
ILARY NICOLAS not sure about the teal lol but the Copper color would look amazing!! I have been doing like every thing I can think of in copper lol. I went as far as just shipping the rims off my show car to a guy in California and having them dipped in copper! lol.. I can't wait to see them but anyways yes I agree copper would have been wonderful!
Treshaja, that turned out pretty cool...ideas that come to mind...1. If you ever want to change the black on top, a firm roller brush would make the painting go faster and more uniform. 2. I could even see someone building a wooden frame around one of the panels, attaching feet to the base and putting a piece of glass on top to tie in with wall art. I've never seen 3-D wall art. Nice work!
Thank you, Kathya!! These are great ideas. I'm going to try the firm roller to see if it will make my life easier. 😊
nice one Tresha, I could try this as a hanging headboard as well.
Thanks Monica!! That's a great idea 💡
Love that idea!!
Hi. Its 2018. You are such a professional and unique that you give me the courage to go outside the box. Who wants the same things in their house that everybody else has. Great Job even in 2018.
The panels look great on your wall. I noticed the panels have a different visual effect, depending on the angle, because of the way you painted them. I really want to try this on a small alcove in my bathroom. Also I just checked their website and they will send out samples, in case anyone else is interested in trying them out.
Thanks Sonya! Yes they truly do look different depending on the angle. Very interesting to see.
wow, that project was like an illusion! i almost forgot that the front of the panel is concave vs. convex!! Beautiful job, as are all of your projects!!!
Thanks Geena! 💕
Great job! This is a good option for renters who need more then white walls...I am using this one....tx
+Rachael Har That is very true, Rachael! I always keep renters in mind. Happy Crafting!!
This is very innovative. However, my husband suggested using a roller instead of the sponge brush. Just be sure that you don't over saturate the roller with too much paint.
Thanks Virginia for the tip! I'll have to give that a try. 😊
Thank you Treshaja, they look so high end! I am going to use your idea as a headboard.
Oh that's going to be so pretty!!
Treshaja turned out beautiful 🤗
Thanks Juliet!!! 😘
I really like this project. An interesting addition to blank painted walls , gallery walls. This is one of those projects that you can make your own, Love Love it! Going to try it this winter. Thank you for sharing!
That is an amazing transformation. The color you chose for the wood really works well with the black paint on the panels. I like that the panels have an Asian look. Well done.
Thank you so much!! That's true... it does have an Asian look. I didn't think about that. 🤗

This is absolutely beautiful. I think the painted plywood background does the trick. Was wondering if the plywood was a lighter stained color & the inner gaps matching same would look interesting. Just a thought.
+Ladii Mysteek D Thanks! I actually wanted the stain to be lighter but it didn't turn out that way. Overall I like the uniqueness of the piece. I love to do things different and not mimic how someone else has it. That's just me. Thanks for the feedback.

thanks I'm looking into making a temporary privacy room wall for one of my children in my dining area. I like the wood you used and the crown molding for the edges really made a better look. as far as the design idk but the wall and molding with the quick glue Yes but very great video it looks good Thanks for the Link I'm going to check them out.
Thanks Lorraine for sharing. Yeah they have a lot of designs to choose from.
luv,luv,luv it
Thanks Dianna!!
Beautiful, creative......great job!!
Thank you!!
That is super cool!
Great Job, Treshaja!! I will be posting pictures of how I turned my back entryway into a little coffee nook. It's just a little place to get away to read and have coffee or relax. Oh suggestion that I give to other DIYers. Always check the oops section in the paint depatment. You can get top notch products at a very cheap price. IE.. I was able to do the setup of my coffee space fo $36.00
+Basic Truth Thank you so much for watching and for the tip!! I will definitely check the oops section. I'm going to be painting soon. Looking forward to seeing your pics!
Very nice!
Thank you!! 🤗

these are amazing and like a few other comments have said I think it would be great as a accent wall but honestly I think it would look amazing as a complete Headboard for a bed. Anyways love your videos and I'm sure I'll be watching them all now as I just came across you lol. But anyways thank you for the idea and can't wait to see what else you've done!
Very nice 👌🏾
Thank you!!
so dag gone fabulous
+Angelle Clarke Thanks girl!! 💕
Beautiful art! I love your results!
Thank you!!!
Looks good. Maybe painting the panels a gold'ish or bronze would have made it pop more with the darker stained background? But all in all still pretty. ♡
Thanks!! A metallic color would look pretty!
The true beauty of this project -- using one idea for application, you can customize it to suit your color/texture scheme so many ways. My idea of a truly customizable decorative feature. Plus, if you have children or pets (as I do!) it is finished relatively quickly, they have less chance of doing the project (or themselves) messy harm. Perfect, and elegantly customizable project I can't wait to start!
Love it.
Thanks Aj!!
I loved it..will try it out
looks great
Thanks Quiana!!

This is such a great idea. I am lazy so I am thinking about just buying some cheap frames from thrift store, Michaels or wherever and taking the glass out to just pop those suckers in thee and hang them up.
LOL!! I'm that way too sometimes. That's an idea!
It is so beautiful. I will try to do it as bed frame. Would you please some DIY bathroom décor. Simple and inexpensive. Thank you.
