Dj I used to work for The Sofa Delivery Company. The company came about after the merger of DFS and Sofology. Yeah, those boxes get loaded throughout the day while the drivers are out making deliveries so when we come back in the evening we would de-mount the empty box and re-mount the loaded one for the next day.
I’m a big fan of your channel love the vids , I recently had my sofa delivered a couple weeks ago by this company, the lad in the cap actually delivered my sofa obviously with another worker and was so polite and chatty was nothing like this in my property when assembling my furniture,I’ve got nothing bad to say about the company or him , best of luck to him , keep up the vids

Thanks Dj the rigid vehicles are just 7.5 ton trucks with demountable bodies. Not trailers as you suggested. The enable the warehouse to preload next days routes why vehicles are out on road. Old fashioned way of transport now. Most transport firms now have 2 or 3 shifts they obviously don’t have night shift to load trucks on return.

You could buy these sofas from 100+ different retailers, online or in store, they keep them in stock in these warehouses and delivered from there but you have to pay for delivery or you can come pick it up yourself. Gone are the days where they kept them in the shops and they had to go check out the back if they are in stock. I did a stint delivering furniture in boxes whole couches squished in to boxes all imported garbage from vietnam china. Mainly used to deliver to other transport depots to go interstate or country but sometimes a whole truck full to an actual retail store or their warehouse.
I dare say he is angry a lot of the time, you could see it in his face straight away!!. Met many over my last 68 years!!, always cause trouble a dissaster waiting to happen. When they go they take others with them!!

He was effing and jeffing, doing the cam back etc. Yes in a way it's understandable to wonder why someone might be outside a business videoing, but nothing unusual to ask. No need to get all aggressive about it. Just ask nicely, will usually yield an answer. Just my opinion. To add I'm a firm believer, always stay outside, don't bother going to reception, let them approach you on public, that way you hold the moral high ground, especially if they kick off, or the police are called.

The gentleman in the car mentions he's had businesses, but DJ doesn't ask, only lets him volunteer what he wants. I find it's down to the person, and DJ as he always has been, is The One. Always worth a watch.

The street used to dead end at the trees with road extended and units constructed 2016. Across the M42 junction constructed 2019 and later. Interesting on old aerials and maps most the area farmland without housing and commercial estates. Units constructed by BSP Consulting and contractor GF Tomlinson with some photos of the construction. 👍

You could buy these sofas from 100+ different retailers, online or in store, they keep them in stock in these warehouses and delivered from there but you have to pay for delivery or you can come pick it up yourself. Gone are the days where they kept them in the shops and they had to go check out the back if they are in stock. I did a stint delivering furniture in boxes whole couches squished in to boxes all imported garbage from vietnam china. Mainly used to deliver to other transport depots to go interstate or country but sometimes a whole truck full to an actual retail store or their warehouse.

Not sure about the second chap in the car. Overall he was positive, but I wasn't happy about him saying it's all for a reaction. Yes, granted going into reception could potentially cause one, but as always person with cameras can't win. Stand outside, person from inside comes out, spouting, why didn't you go in and tell us what you are doing? my words. Or in their words why didn't you come in and ask for permission? A perfect example was a video from BP Visits yesterday, guy who had watched this type of video before, comes to the fence saying BP wanted a reaction? Then continued to give a reaction, sometimes the script writes itself. He was effing and jeffing, doing the cam back etc. Yes in a way it's understandable to wonder why someone might be outside a business videoing, but nothing unusual to ask. No need to get all aggressive about it. Just ask nicely, will usually yield an answer. Just my opinion. To add I'm a firm believer, always stay outside, don't bother going to reception, let them approach you on public, that way you hold the moral high ground, especially if they kick off, or the police are called.
