    I am in AZ and a huge fan, my brother lives in South Texas. He recently visited the Dallas area and then came home to visit AZ for Thanksgiving. He brought me the Meat Church Fab 5 seasoning package. Wow!! Love the Blanco. Thanks Matt, keep smoking!.

    I have a crown roast in the freezer now that I will be pulling out soon. I'm glad you put this one in the rotation, it looks delicious. Your channel should be over a million with all the great cooks you do

    Thank you!! I ordered one for the 1st time because my Mom wants it for Christmas. I have to cook it though and never have. I've only eaten them years ago when I wasn't old enough to cook. 😊 I'm so worried about messing it up because I'm 52 years old and my Mom is the only person in the world I'm afraid of. 👀 I love her a lot too.

    Got my order in with Hudson Oaks HEB butcher for a crown roast pick up on Mon. Got all the ingredients and will be serving on Christmas eve. Thanks BTW for your Spatchcock Turkey recipe. It was a HUGE hit this Thanksgiving. That says a lot since we were all turkeyed out over the years even after frying in previous years. Merry Christmas Matt to you and yours.

    I make a sourdough sage stuffing with Jimmy Dean sage sausage in it and a good amount of fresh sage. So good. You can literally serve it with any protein and be really not mad about it.

    Thank you Matt for making this. I have picked up a couple of these roasts at Costco, pretty cheap, (in the $30's). They also may call it a rack of pork. I talked to their butcher, and he said they always have it around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I couldn't wait the first time I heard about it, and ordered one from Heberts Specialty Meats (The Woodlands, TX) but it was more expensive that time. I plan to pick up a couple more before the holidays are over with. I love this recipe, and really want to check out the stuffing recipe too. Thanks again, wishing you a Merry Christmas, and keep up the great work!

    Holy smokes, $56 for 9 lbs is wild. I just bought one earlier today for $11.50 that is 6 lbs. I just need to add the chop cuts to make it into a crown. It came pre-frenched.

    Outstanding recipe, and loved the bourbon cocktail ... the stuffing recipe I will definitely try.
    Question, we host Christmas Eve and Christmas day events for family ... the last two years we have tried to mix up the menu, last year we did appetizers instead of a main course and found that folks really liked it, and ended up interacting more as they kept coming back to the appetizers on the island in the kitchen... any appetizer recipes or ideas you would recommend?

    It'd be great if it was taken from a raw cut to a crown roast ready to cook. Trying to find a crown roast in my area is a bit of a stretch ...

    That looks amazing, Matt. I've seen it cooked before but never with stuffing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that baby back ribs still attached to the pork loin? Before a butcher separates the two? And as for the drink. For mixing, I would've went with the Buffalo Trace. The Wellers Single Barrel is to drink neat. Lol. Too good for a mixer. I can't find it down here. Me and you have talked about 107 in the past. I need another bottle. And it's difficult to find here in Houston. Well, find one that they aren't charging you 250 to 300 for anyway. I did score a Stagg last week while I was in Bay City. I got it for 130. They been running 250+. This guy just got a case and had two on his shelf. So he sold one on the shelf to me for 130. If you know where I can find Wellers 107 or Single Barrel, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.
