Sounds great! I recently got an offer to do a PhD at Harvard and also just moved here as a visiting researcher for my master's thesis, so I'm really looking forward to your future videos. Maybe I'll see you around Cambridge sometime :)
Please make a series on how to start preparing since day1 of our masters day so that after completing we can land up in such innovative and prestigious institution
Hi, great video as always!! Little correction since I’m a little finance nerd.. Steve Schwarzmann is founder and ceo of Blackstone, the largest Private Equity fund in the world not really a hedge fund. Keep being inspirational! Greetings from Germany
It's really impressive to see how you're taking on new challenges and pursuing your goals by pursuing a business degree at Harvard and exploring opportunities in the tech startup world.👏👏
Wow, you really are socially skilled. I am not at all. It is really inspiring to see you talking and interacting with people. I could never imagine being like that. I suppose I should try and practice and understand its something that can be build up with effort just like math skill. But I have a hard time actually believing that about interpersonal stuff. Were you always like this?
Hey Samuel, thanks for your videos, they're always uplifting. Most importantly your last video was remarkable, since almost no "successfull RUclips person" talks so openly about their problems and worrys. I really like the idea for your new videos, looking forward to that!
Hey Samuel, at 6:46, even though you hid your API key with an environmental variable, you might still want to blur out your account organisation key and authorisation token. Great content to share your life!
@@SamuelBoschMIT As far as I know, the organisation key (or name) is an unique and immutable identifier of your OpenAI account. I have experience with other services where a JWT token is the only required authorisation to have certain access out of an account. I think it would be a little bit safer to blur out the two if you would continue to use it 😆
Nvm, I just realised the OpenAI authorisation token is your API key, which you have deactivated. Initially, I thought you had shown an API key (hidden with os.getenv()), an unknown authorisation token, and your organisation key, so I worried the last two might grant others some access. As for now, showing only your organisation key should not be a problem.. Cheers
Unscripted and natural videos are really the way to go! These are way better to watch and funnier. Surely you will have great success with your channel. Thank you.
Tbh as an international student, it's really hard to start your own start up due to immigration law. Your best bet is to mary an American and change your immigration status to CR1 from F1 to create your own start up without any restriction. Unless, you wanna have an American friend as the owner of your startup and sponsor you as an employee. Your other bet is to convert your f1 to E2 visa which enables you have your own business but a minimum if 100k investment towards your business is required and this visa will never lead to a green card. Unfortunately, US immigration is pretty awful, if you aspire to own your own start up. Sidenote: as a F1 student you are not allowed to earn an income while you''re on a student visa. Tldr: Find an American lover and marry asap(big commitment), because it takes about 1 year to process the visa. However, if you wanna work a company, your path is easy! Good luck to you!
Hi, I have a question: I‘m very interested in entrepreneurship, but I‘m Not interested in degrees like engineering, business, finance, Computer engineering, etc… The subject I‘m very passionate about is medicine. Studying something different would not make me happy and I think I would be a pretty bad engineer or programmer🫣. So I‘d like to ask wheter you See any med-students at Harvard that try to become entrepreneurs? And do you think it is generally possible to be a successful Startup-founder with a medical degree?
Hope you're doing well? I'm an international Student sending you this message all the way from Africa ( Angola). I am currently majoring in economics and will graduate next year in the middle of June. Can you share some tips on entering the MBA program at MIT ? where to start and how things work?
Hi Samuel! I'm halfway through my sophomore year of high school and am interested in math. Do you think it's too late to do well in math/physics competition if I have no prior experience? I'm willing to put in the hours to get good at it but I'd like to know how realistic this is.
Samuel, you are a great inspiration to me. All my education background was in Brazil and I was acepted as a PhD visiting student in Columbia University (New York) and UC Berkeley :)
Just wondering, is there a reason you chose HBS rather than Sloan? I assume because HBS is more prestigious, but Sloan would have been much more convenient, no?
I like the idea that you want to add an ai as a support model for accountants, but to train such a model, wouldn't it be wise to ask big 4 anonymous data (and tbh I don't know if it's possible for legal reasons). I mean your idea is not bad at all, for each mission, financial auditors have to update and fact check on the company they work for, but that's some small changes most of the times from past missions with the same company nor a "same-field" company. So yeah, getting in touch with legal counsel to know if that could be possible to let an AI do that could be great, nevertheless you probably need to reverse engineer the process to make it understandable for legal authority if they fact check the work of your AI model too
If you had to choose again for your career path: would you still pursue physics or try another path-if so what major? Would be intrigued to hear :) Regards from Germany
First thought you would head to HBS and quit phd MIT as i saw the title xD Also thought about a version of a think on chat gpt, cause i and my friends tried to use this ai for school but it was sometimes so bad and so random but sometmes produced content exüetional. so we thought chat gpt needs more specific information, it also works with the already existing ai if you copy paste it some of your school ressources but as you said theres huge optimasation potential, biggest problem is that this ai is kinda a generral ai but lags in specific knowleadge. building a company by optimising the ai will defenttly be a race against the time since the ai will also learn more and more each day... But if you pick a niece and get some talented people together and build a comeprate structure. I also see some potentioal there so you/ your companie as a early adopter/ service provider could get maybe get a step in the door... Will be glad to see how you doing samuel - keep us updated
I moved up here for the biotech industry (Moderna Pfizer), I’m actually very knowledgeable on everything though 😂. I like your videos! I’d start a tech start up with you!
@@SamuelBoschMIT it’s a huge noticeable industry out here in Boston. Basically, everyone is trying to make drugs/biologics, get them through clinical trials (bench to lab, to pilot, to mid scale, to large scale manufacturing) because all the resources/supply chain/Support vendors/Quality product related businesses are out here in this area (Biotech hub). I can also code, am familiar with cloud computing, and anything software development/website creation. I just chose biotech because my degree is bioengineering (closely related to this industry). I’m kind of just assessing the area/real estate/biopharma industry/dating scene 😂, then I was going to start my own biopharma company and find a wife 😂.

How is UC Berkeley eecs if compared to the mit eecs
I think both departments are really good. MIT may be slightly more known, but this shouldn’t really matter
