    This is an excellent version of Springer!
    Hands down I don't regret getting it, but I agree it should have come only 2 weapons and been 34.99

    Thanks for the review. I sold my Kingdom Blaster when SS86 came out and kind of wish I hadn’t. I think I’ll at least wait until I have SS Springer in hand before I make a decision on doing the same with Siege.

      @superroboted  2 месяца назад +3

      While I still have Kingdom Blaster the Studio Series version is better but I kept the Kingdom version and gave the duplicates to my kids. If I had to keep one it would be the SS'86 version overall.

    He looks much better in hand. Just like Sandstorm, all 3 of his modes look fantastic! However, Sandstorm does have the smoother transformations.
    Just like in your showcase, he looks incredible with my Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus.
    I agree that while it looks great, the price hike will always be in question.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад

      Actually the new Springer is so much easier to transform and makes him equal to Sandstorms. That price still makes me ill

      @Sayerservante 2 месяца назад +2

      @@superroboted I'm sure the Siege and Legacy Springer got you familiar with the transformation of this mold, but for me, after recently transforming Sandstorm several weeks ago and then eventually transforming Springer for the first time, I can attest that I took more time thinking about the transformation of Springer than Sandstorm.

    Great video. Good figure. Good improvements. But I'm happy with my siege, don't need but definitely will get ss86 optimus prime, a must buy huge difference than the ER Prime.
    I usually use the double guns for his helicopter mode

    this is still kinda a lazy release, i feel like leader isn’t even size anymore nor quality or budget, it’s just a voyager with a lot of accessories. good figure but i think he is still overpriced. there’s a difference with figures that are faking being a higher class and figures that are a higher class. 86 prime can be a commander class figure because at least the robot mode looks taller, beefed up, and higher quality. then you have rodimus. what happened to leader class figures? rotf and potp prime, 2007 brawl, some of the older generations figures…

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад +6

      I said this in my video I do not agree with the price point at all. The retool is awesome, new gun, and sword propeller blade are what was needed for the figure. However the original guns, the extra sword, hammer, and missile were not needed. Though the extra sword is iconic because he used it on Wreck Gar, how much more money do you want to charge me for it? Because it's such a great retool it leaves much to be desired

    I like the figure I just don't like all the crap that came with him so they could charge more. If he had it in the movie it makes sense. If he didn't then he shouldn't have it.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад +6

      Well he had it in the movie ...we just didn't need it🤣...how many swords do we need. We didn't need the guns from the Siege version, we didn't need the hammer...the missile maybe as the hammer and the two guns were not part of the '86 movie. I like the figure but I'm not happy I had to pay...but the figure itself is far better than Siege.

    This is the most agregious voyager to leader price jump bc this mold was literally released as a Voyager. They barely upgraded him. I'm done getting ripped off by hasbro trynna to milk me out of hype & slightly more accurate. Shouldn't be legal at this point to do this.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  Месяц назад +1

      @@nicklegostava it's not illegal is all I can say. However it should have been at a voyager price point and that's it.

      @@superroboted this makes me worry the SS86 Megatron is gonna be a SLIGHT Earthrise Retool that was already a re-tool of seige. That mold has been so over used the Nemesis Bridge set the Megatron I ended up with is ridiculously loose & at the knees can't stand & can't fix with floor polish. Hasbro won't even replace so I'm just about done with them & Nonsense they keep pulling. Price is not Equal to what I've ended up with most of the time.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  Месяц назад +1

      @@nicklegostava Well I'm hearing SS'86 Megatron will be a new mold. retooling ER like they did SS'86 Springer would be a travesty. If they do that, I will eviscerate Hasbro in my video of the figure.

    Thank you for this, really, I was going to pass on this. You made all the direct hits on the points of interest here, that much taller?. It appears it is in all in the thighs being longer? I actually think I prefer the brighter colors on the siege here, but that is a subjective thing.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад +5

      The thighs, chest, and head all are slightly larger than the Siege version. I hate to say it but it's the better of the two especially when transforming. It's crazy but I would get the SS'86 version, but overall it should have been cheaper.

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад +2

      The Wreckers version is just a different color. I saw no need to buy that version because I had cleaned up my Siege Springer pretty nicely. Besides the different colors and tampos, the Wreckers version is exactly like the Siege version.

    Seige is fine with me. SS VERSION is 75 in Toronto. Thankful I've come to the end of my collecting journey. SS 86 prime is on his way to me and I'm calling it a career. We're at the Peak with Hasbro Imo..... I enjoyed the ride. Great video. Till all are One!

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  27 дней назад

      Hey that's how it's looking for me too. What sucks about Siege Springer is the engineering. I know prices are higher in Canada but here it's no better because of inflation. I don't regret getting SS'86 as it's the better Springer with better upper torso engineering and it looks a lot nicer. If I wasn't doing RUclips I probably would not have bought it. Just like I would have not bought Legacy United Soundwave, but I gotta review too many Soundwaves for the people😂

    This is a tough call between the Wrecker version which is still available on Amazon and SS which has yet to release. SS is only a little bit more, but accuracy aside I understand the biggest improvements are in the quality, feel, and durability of the figure over the past two releases. Sort of justifies the price point as we've been seeing across the board with Blitzwing, and most recently Sandstorm. Wish they'd just drop the Leader designation though and go with maybe Ultra Voyager as that feels more accurate than Leader, and engineering, accessories included will never make up what a Leader sized figure should be. Closest I think in recent memory is maybe Kingdom/Legacy Galvatron as while not the tallest a dense and chunky figure. Observations aside looking forward to adding SS 86 Springer to the shelf though most of the accessories will probably end up in the needless parts bin. Out of curiosity pulled T30s Springer off the shelf, and he too had the transforming blade/sword weapon. How is this figure still this good to mess with?

    • @superroboted
      @superroboted  2 месяца назад

      I hate the price...I hate the price...I hate the price. However, he is easier to transform because of the remolded, re-engineered chest/upper body. The arms can be weird to lock in when transforming, but with the legs it all forms rather nicely. I like transforming him. Overall standing with the rest of the '86 crew he looks so much better. I think he is waay better than the Wreckers version, but ultimately, it comes down to the money
