Nurgle is my least favourite Chaos God but Tamurkhan looks quite interesting and I'm also intrigued by the new Nurgle units and changes, I doubt I'll be playing as him myself though so I'll just wait for you to do a playthrough :) Also that equipment you're getting from the Gunnery School can only be equipped to Master Engineer Lords and Engineer Heroes.

This may be the first DLC where I'm almost as excited for the free updates as for the paid content...the rework that CA has done for all the Dwarf factions, and the reworks for Karl Franz and Balthasar Gelt's campaigns, not to mention the wonderful changes for all the Nurgle factions...I'm so torn!!! XP

To see what heroes can do on the campaign map (especially before you hire them), you can click on the small icon on the bottom right of the ability screen (toggle between campaign abilities and attributes). "Use them as fodder", don't let that hear your troops, they might not like it. Nicely executed split siege though, their lord was just aimlessly running around doing nothing but wasting time.
Love all the part of this DLC, will play all 4 but start with Dwarfs cause its my bois. Tho Elspeth looks intresting and abit dark and mysterious wich is kinda fun
Hi Lionheart - in the first episode you mentioned you'd like ideas for army compositions. At some point I think it could be fun to make what is effectively a napoleon tw style army, in thus campaign. So I'm thinking no melee infantry, with pretty much all units being the gunnery school and maybe a couple of cavalry units
LionHeart, I want to just check if you remember about the update in siege battles where you can't get the main victory point without first capturing the secondary victory point.
The fort is upgrading and if u let them upgrade it will be much harder to reclaim for empire . Attack the fort . Shatter their army in the fields and reclaim the empire lands under your banner
Fun fact: Vampire Hunters were suspicious that Elspeth only comes out at night. In truth, she only comes out at night because of the dramatically reduced chances of seeing people.
No you can play immortal empires, but only with the warhammer 3 races. The rest will be controlled by the ai until you buy the respective base games or DLCs. So you wouldn’t be able to play the empire or dwarfs at all, but if you would buy the new dlc for example you would get access to one empire faction with elspeth and one dwarf faction with Malakai
Is it me or does the empire feel way way smaller in WH3 then it did in WH2? It makes sense that they were condensed abit to make other areas larger, but idk just feels like it’s way to small now with way to many chaos characters in it. Festus and kazak were more then enough for the empire as far as major lords are concerned, and now the vampire counts just makes it feel like it’s less of an empire and more of a fight for control.

Same here. Also want to try a skarbrand campaign with nemesis crown and the sword of khaine. But that will have to wait a bit.
