Not sure if this is on DVD, but I do know that its on VHS. This was released in the US without the subtitles. This was one of Mike's first study videos that was recorded in Japan. Notice that he's not playing Tama but Mapex, this is before he got his endorsement deal with Tama. Check with your local drum store for the VHS, hope this helps.

I don't know why I've been breaking my balls with Odd Time signatures for so long, it's really goddamn simple actually, it's very much like simple math and I've been making it harder than it looks in my own deluded insane mind! take a 4/4 play it at double speed and you have a 4/8! so take a 7/4 play it at double speed and you have a 7/8! fuck me real easy, The hard part is to keep track in your mind, but you could very well just count a 7/8 as a 4/4 with the last beat cut in half
