Hi! May I ask how tall are you? Which height/position of the handle do you use? Did you find yourself kicking the brake bar when pushing the stroller? Thanks!!
Thanks for this video What is your opinion I have 2 children 2 years and 4 years old So which one is better Mockingbird or Baccani lusso double Thank you
With the little suspension, does the stroller shake and make a thump sound when pushing on the sidewalk? Our current stroller does that over every crack in the sidewalk which is every 2 ft.
This is a great review! We're looking to get this stroller, but my husband is tall, 6'3 and I'm 5'10 and we're concerned with the lack of telescoping handle. Would you mind sharing how tall you are and whether or not you find kicking the crossbar to be a problem? Thanks!
I am 5'9" and yes I've kicked the brake just a few times in the past year but it has happened. I could see a taller person kicking it more frequently though.
re: folding "You can easily do it with one hand" 2:50 - uses 2 hands. I'm not sure why people say folding this stroller is easy. There's no way you're getting it into your car with one hand much less holding a baby in the other hand. Great note at 2:56 picking it up by that bar. It's not intuitive where you're supposed to grab the stroller once it's folded it. I thought maybe by the bumper bar but that puts it at a super awkward angle.
You have to be careful. There is 2 mockingbird strollers, I accidentally bought the single so I thought later it would be a double but I was wrong I bought the wrong version there is 2! You have to purchase the one with the bottom curves so the second seat attachment can be put easily on. Now I’m struggling on selling mine, I just ended up buying a used city select with everything for only $50.00 good conditions no rips or stains, she stated it was for her grandchildren but they came rarely and so there fore they grew up fast and never used it, yes it’s an older model, but it’s basically in new conditions, she kept it in the box wrapped with all accessories. Well I guess you rarely find good things these day. Just before you purchase the mocking bird please look at the frame first before hand.
Thanks for the video . My daughter has this stroller on her registry and i thought its too much to pay for a stroller so wanted to research. The title for your video says "Don't overspend ....." so I thought you were going to say don't buy it but i after watching te video, it sounds like you would recommend.
Yes I highly recommend this stroller when conpared to some of its more expensive conpetitors! I know what you mean about the cost being high for strollers but unfortunately this is what the market is looking like right now.
I'm not familiar with that one but I did just look it up. I would say that these two strollers serve two different purposes. The Pockit+ has a compact design for city living. The mockingbird is not compact. It's not overly large when packed down but not even comparable to the pockit+. The pockit+ doesn't look as rigid and is more suited for people where space is limited
Now is this the one that is single to double?? This is my first mocking bird video have second kid due in Feb! We also used the keyfit 30 for our first kid while sporting the Chico bravo stroller so really hate to leave our bravo but it simply can’t fit my toddler in it while also my soon to be baby girl 😂.
This is just the single. I just finished the video for the single to double stroller and will be available on RUclips next week. It’s a full in depth review of all the features from the perspective of someone two under two. I made as a one stop shop for the information you could need.
@@ActiveDad well that’s exactly what I was looking for! Not that there is anything wrong with this but you are the only guy I can find doing reviews on em and I don’t care what anybody says the dad and mom look at completely different things when talking about purchasing something that we are gonna use literally everyday lol. Usually the wife wants it to look fly while the dad wants to make sure the latches and hinges aren’t gonna be coming apart in a year while your in the middle of the zoo mid august.😂😂 I’ve gotta say this chicco bravo we have used the past two years has been a absolute trooper.
You could save some money by going directly to a convertable car seat. The benefit of the convertable is that it will last longer because it can support newborns and babys up to 65 lbs. The downside is that thr carseat stays in your car so you cant switch it from car to car or from car to stroller.
No I wouldnt say the car seat or stroller is a cause for crying l. He can get fussy when putting him in the seat but the pushing of the stroller usually calms him down.
Really considering getting this stroller with the KetFit 30. How hard is it to release the car seat from the stroller? Can you release it with one hand?
Oh yes! Release design of the car seat is exactly as you wish it would be, easy to use with one hand. I wish my high chair table had the same design. Did you estch the keyfit review I did?
@@ActiveDad Thank you for the quick response! I'll definitely check out your Keyfit review. Your review for the Mockingbird stroller was so helpful. I can't wait to try it.
Hi Teresa! Since we used our car seat while he was an infant, we didn't end up getting the infant insert. Once we moved him to the Mockingbird seat, we did use a different infant head rest but looks to be about the same. The head rests are a must if you're going to be using the Mockingbird seat while they are an infant. They look so small as an infant in that big seat! We got our stroller back in November and they just started doing pre-orders for the single-to-double. If I were buying now, I would definitely get the single-to-double since we're planning on having a second. The stroller does weigh more but that's to be expected with a beefier frame for the second seat.
I would say no on that one. The spacing available for your feet is not enough for a running stride. The brake is also located in the middle which I do kick often but have never actually pressed into engaged the brake. I would imagine I would kick the break more often if I was running.
We literally returned our Mockingbird, and thankfully got a Vista. Mockingbird is a joke and a total nightmare. These reviews all sounded great, but they’re all paid for. Can’t trust them.
Same here. I bought my Vista (which I LOVE) to replace the Mockingbird. Hated it. I’ve been back and forth for the past month and a half with their customer service people trying to return it. They won’t hold up their end of the bargain on their “satisfaction guarantee” claim. Any info on how you successfully returned yours would be great.
The Active Dad the main complaint is the wheels and lack of suspension. The wheels are plastic and the suspension is non-existent. Our baby felt everything we drove over with the stroller and would wake up. Car seat adapter kept getting stuck to our car seat and didn’t want to detach. And the handle bar was not comfortable. I’m 6 foot 3 and they said it would be accommodating for all heights, and it had me slouched over. It was a nightmare stroller.
Hi Dinorah, sorry for the late response! Just noticed RUclips isn't notifying me of comments. I'm sure you already found a cup holder but this is the one we have. Comes with two and is a more reasonably priced one than most of the others on amazon. I also love it because it expands to the size of your cup so it could hold a red bull or a coffee cup. amzn.to/2WoSD9E

Hi! May I ask how tall are you? Which height/position of the handle do you use? Did you find yourself kicking the brake bar when pushing the stroller? Thanks!!
The most beautiful stroller I've ever seen. The customer service is absolutely amazing.
I love your style of reviewing a product. Clear, concise, and straight to the point. Excellent!
Yeah,I'm buying this because of your detailed review of this stroller
Thank you Janeth! Glad my video could help you make your decision! You won't be disappointed.
This is the best review I have seen!
Thanks Lianet! Definitely a fantastic stroller with lots of features which is why it's probably one of the longest videos on my channel
Thanks for this video
What is your opinion
I have 2 children
2 years and 4 years old
So which one is better
Mockingbird or
Baccani lusso double
Thank you
I have this stroller in baby blue and i love it!

Make sure you have the brake on when folding it :) I saw in another video that that's a common mistake people make

Hello, My wife love this stroller is on her list, I like it too but I also like the gb Pockit+ All City, do you have any opinion about this one?

Thumbs up for the review, I'd give another if I could for being a Disc Golfing Dad. :)
Are you still able to fold up the stroller with the car seat adapter attached?
Yes!
Hi Jimmy, i am curious to know are the parts like toddler seat fabric and canopy washable???
Yes, any fabric than can be removed can be thrown in the washer and everything else can be hand washed.
You did an excellent review! Thanks!!!
Why thank you Carolina!!
Agreed! Excellent review
Any idea how this handles on different terrains? Specifically grass and gravel?
I've used it on both grass, gravel and off road through the desert and it handles great! No complaints.
Keep up the good work - looking forward to more vids.
Thank you! Been taking a little break since we moved to a new state but I am working on a new video right now. :)

I know this video is a bit old. But in case you see my comment is there any cheaper car seat you recommend wd the stroller. Thanks

@@ActiveDad thanks alot for this reply! I'm considering chicco keyfit 30 and graco and maxi cosi mico for now.will definitely look into convertibles

Question, does the canopy collapse too easily while walking?
No, it stays out no problem.
Now that’s a review!!!!🙂
Thanks for the review! Did you find that you needed the infant insert? Also, did you consider getting the single-to-double version of the Mockingbird?

Thing is the best
Does it go into bassinet mode?
The seat lays all the way back so the baby would be laying down if that's what you mean by bassinet mode.
You have to buy the bassinet separately. It is where all the accessories are located at.
Great review !!!!
Thanks Lindsey!!
Great review! just wish they can ship to Canada
What!? They don't??
The Active Dad their website shows only ship to us😫
Dang that is a bummer!

Sounds like it wasn't a good fit for you. Glad you were you able to find one that works for you!
Thank you! I’ve been looking for a real review. I got the uppa vista v2 and love it. I was afraid I overpaid when I saw all of the positive MB press
