I have been wanting to do Bible journaling for a long time but never jumped in. I’m a perfectionist so starting something new that does not come naturally, like being artistic, overwhelms me. But my goal this year is to be in His word more so I know this will help. Thank you for showing your starting place. Now I need to go watch a video that shows your more recent journaling. Could you link the other people you got your creative inspiration from?

The two creators/artists I followed when I first started were @LindseyDecor and @rebekahrjones For Rebekah Jones' channel, start with the playlist ORIGINAL BIBLE ART JOURNALING CHALLENGE - Series 1. That set of tutorials really introduced me to Bible journaling. Also, being a perfectionist, you may want to consider starting your Bible journaling journey in something other than a journaling Bible. I worked on blank paper prior to the journaling Bible shown here. You could print out scripture and attach it to your paper or journal. That way it will look/feel similar to a journaling Bible. Then, simply add your art and journaling to the other side of the page. Be sure to check out our IG account. I often create in journals and on loose art paper, instead of in a journaling Bible. Finally, be sure to check out our print shop at hispalette.com We create and design beautiful printables that you can use in your journaling. God bless you, my sister!
