Exercise for your health, diet for your weight. Exercise is very inefficient at dropping weight, but it sure helps with your muscle tone, heart health and sense of well being. If you put in the effort and work to exercise, then the sedentary parts of your life you like (sitting in the sun, reading, watching TV) will be the guilt-free reward. The trick is to be consistent with your diet and exercise until you form a habit. Habits are hard to break.... including the good ones.
Awesome to see someone else on the journey of transition through life! I also started it with just walking. Well, two things. The big pivot came from changing my internal voice from insulting to encouraging. I carried the respect for others, that I would never have for myself. Then I started walking, which led to swimming, then to the gym and hiking. I feel so blessed because God, or the universe, or whatever we believe in--even if it's just ourselves--has the power to undo 20 years of weight gain in under 10 years. Much love and blessings.
How we speak to ourselves is so important, seriously! Sometimes we need to refocus on ourselves and turn to our beliefs to help us move forward and stay on the path. I am glad to hear you're on this journey too!
This is a great video. I wish I had seen things like this when I was much younger. It's so refreshing to see a realistic and unfiltered depiction of caring for your body.
Finally, someone honest. The problem is that she will go on this path like the others; she will forget how she started, and then the BS will start. But for now, I am subscribing. Your honesty is a priceless gem in this world of lies. Ty.BTW you look super!
why are you stating “she will” as if you can see into the future? that “problem” is not for you to burden. subscribe because you want to support, not because you’re pessimistic about what she’s capable of. plenty of people lose weight and have maintained it for years on youtube. you clearly are not watching the proper “others” and even if they do; people grow older, live & experience. some people are generally fit as young adults, athletes/olympians even. then they get older & their priorities change. that’s life.
What is your problem bro? What are you even on about? She lost the kg's and has maintained it and making videos to inspire others. Don't like don't watch.

this is such a backhanded way to compliment someone. 'the BS will start' like what?? just say she's doing well and move on
