nice to see im not the only one doing insane challenge runs in bl1 still. am doing a terrible masher revolver run with no other gear, action skill or any other skills used. the grind to level 13 using melee only was hell, 4 hours of zombie slaying did the trick tho.
I’m honestly worried bl4 is gonna be worse than bl3, which is saying something because the fuckers killed Maya for Ava which still blows my fuckin mind!
@@Die4Gesichter Well wonderlands was a really small game worth $20 pretending to be a $60 game, the wonderlands dlc was a joke, and New Tales was a disaster. Everything gearbox has put out in the last 4 years has been disappointing at best, so assuming good things about anything they do in the future seems silly.
Guessing a one life will be the defqult for bl4. Witj op skill trees and enemies weaker than in bl2, so many legendaries your fully kitted by lvl 15 and a worthless nostalgia baiting story

Best thing is to use brick, focus on survivability and health regen skills. Toughest boss was definitely the Rakk hive but I lost the will to do sidequests by the time I got there. It took around 6 hours in total game time! I also did a "gunless" run recently which meant no car guns but I was allowed shields and classmods but felt this was way easier. I think knowing what is/isn't worth doing is a big help in these runs.
That's not a dumb question, it would make sense for sure. I can't say I made an educated choice between the two, I just chose twitch because that's where most borderlands streamers are.

Yeah the original is a chore to grind in, but the skills were also some of the most broken so it kind of balances.
