You mention that the food was great. So was the video, professional throughout. I was there at this match and of course with a 3-0 win for the O's, made it more enjoyable.
The actual reason for the offset gable in the East Stand is because it was originally built at a greyhound stadium, and that's where the finish line was.
As was stated it was built centre, then extended when the O's were promoted to division one. The south terracing used to contine around to the East side. I first went to the O's when the old East stand was there.
Yes and also the West Stand or Justin Edinburgh Stand as it is now known isn't the newest it opened in 2005 but the North Stand is the newest and opened in 2007.
An excellent introduction to the ground, including catering facilities and with good historical research. If the LOFC poster writer is watching, the plural of hero is heroes.

Thank you. I had a great time and it was a very good performance!
Those corner apartment rentals look like very good value!
A glaring omission 😳 is the statue of the late, great Laurie Cunningham - which is in Coronation Gardens (behind the south stand).
the most underrated football youtuber EVER
Not really. This is a poor video. Although he seems a nice chap.

@@thebrothers3971 That's as maybe, but there are photos of it in situ at Mitcham Stadium and the gable is off centre just as it is now.
Enjoyed that a lot, great video!
Thank you!
Sorry but it is a poor video. How can it be good when it is factually incorrect ?
Danke!
Thank you so much! I am very grateful!
Top man! Great content!
@@KilbyJason1971 thank you!
I remember when I was little i used to think they were twinned/ attached to lorient fc the french team, don't know why I thought that
Excellent video as always .
Great video. I've been there a couple times. Orient fan since the Hearn days living in the States here. Appreciate the video!
Thanks for watching! Do you still get to watch many games?
I supported them from Alex Stock as manager until the seventies when l left for norfolk
Great video from this O's supporter, looking forward to checking out more videos from you
Thanks, I hope you enjoy! Well done with the win today!
@@TFSS Cheers! Take care
Good video mate!
Thanks!
The reviewer said that he would go for an East London meal so why is he not eating the pie, mash and liquor that is on sale there.
The joke in the ground is that the flats that face away from the pitch cost more a month
This video is wrong. The offset gable stand was because it was originally a dog track and that was the finish line.

Excellent video 😊
No, it is a poor video as you can see from the negative comments. Rule one, he needs to get his facts correct.
Super tour
Thanks!
Great video, just subb'd.
Thank you very much!

It’s because the nickname of Leyton Orient is the O’s so its a play on the word “hero” for our players who lost their lives at the Somme
That is not East London pie n mash! Pie & mash comes with green liquor and isnt a Balti pie
The video maker seems a nice chap but clearly does not have a clue. And the video is factually wrong
North stand is newest
