In fnaf 2 you don’t play as William. You play as Jeremy. A random guy. William is the guard before you. And stuff you didn’t recognize was stuff you missed in previous games, like Michael voice, was not at the end of Pizzeria simulator. It was at the end of Sister location, but you didn’t get to hear that because you didn’t complete the game.
Actually the current consensus is you play as Michael for the first six games with him changing his name each time due to getting fired or committing arson at the end of each game. Except 4 and 5 where he wasn’t an employee and 6 because he died. Also before somebody comments about the Crying Child being the MC of 4, apparently the phone toy points to it being Michael.
@@calebgoodman3028 in fnaf 2 Jeremy is a random guy, but on night 7 “Fritz Smith” is Michael’s fake name. And it’s most likely Michael in 4 because of the phone call. I will say as that part 4 is the one that is mostly wrong, which is very common when talking about the most recent parts as we don't have all the info yet for what I call either Era 2 or Season 2 of the FNaF Story which started with FNaF Help Wanted 1 and the latest Help Wanted 2 (we still are not sure on whether or not FNaF Into the Pit is in the same timeline, because it's based on a book but that is an argument in the community whether Books are part of the Games Timeline) BUT Part 4 is still good at the information is give just remember it's highly likely incorrect with how it uses that info.
Regardless of it's canonicity ITP doesn't really impact the second Arc at all as it seems to be part of the old arc or part of an arc 1.5 timeline wise (if canon)
Just to let you know, into the pit is the game version of one of the books. It isn't really canon to the rest of the games but canon to the books as the books kind of have their own universe.
The funny thing is a lot of the third section was proven false like a week later due to new book revelations and even more the order of the children’s deaths were rearranged too. Not his fault mind you, most of the game’s story is told through speculation and you have to figure it out yourself.
@ I know the books are an alternate canon yes but stuff from the books have been used in recent games, with one character in particular getting an entire game about them next year.
While I do absolutely recommend you continue down this almost literal rabbit hole with MatPat and Tom's (the new host of Game Theory since Mat retired earlier this year) FNAF theories, there is much you need to be aware of. These are all theories and not meant to be taken as fact. FNAF is a series that does not hand out its lore, it seeds out complex and vague clues about what is happening in the story and there are literal channels dedicated to finding out what the heck is going on in these games. It is full of contradictions, retcons, misleadings, missed clues, and details that people have widely different opinions on. There is no real way to fully understand what is happening, rather channels like Game Theory simply do their best to draw conclusions based on what they're given, make assumptions where needed, and present them in easy to digest ways. And the conclusions they come to change and evolve over time as new information is presented or old information is reexamined. Even this Ultimate Timeline series is no longer accurate to the current understanding of some of these events. It should also be noted that some people get really pissed off at MatPat whenever he gets any details wrong or presents conclusions that they simply don't like, even if they have little to no evidence to disprove it. Game Theory tries their best with what they're given and it is all meant to be in good fun. So just be aware that not everything presented is going to be accurate, but also not everyone screaming about how wrong he is in the comments should be listened to. Also, it needs to be said that Scott Cawthon, the creator, had no real ideas for the lore at first. His first game was a last ditch effort to make something work after several failed game releases, ready to quit if it failed too. A sequel was made out of its popularity and only then did he actually start to build off the lore bit by bit, only having a somewhat solid idea where he wanted to go with it by games 4 and 5, which then of course changed further over time.
I just found your channel- have you seen the movie yet? Security Breach is my favorite of the games so far... Very different from the others in the way that you're not always stuck in an office, and roam the huge Pizzaplex
If you wish to check out FNAF AR sadly it was shut down but there's pretty good remakes like darkest delivery(I think it's called) or the Roblox remake
Just one thing to note, part 4 is all debunked speculation about Security Breach. Parts 1-3 are mostly accurate and canon. Keep this in mind going forward in this series.
@@lokimiguel2452 The only other thing that was debunked was Henry bailing out William. Other than that, parts 1-3 are still like 90% accurate lore wise. Anything post Fnaf 6 is where the lore starts to get tricky.
I forget where in the video you asked, but in terms of if a lot of this is just fan stuff, i think theres been a few select Game theory episodes the creator of the series himself gave the seal of approval or at least the best we usually get of “he got it mostly right”. So we’re not all just crazy and making a collective fanfic… more or less. Technically, the whole concept of Mike being playable in 1-6 (except 2, he’d only be on night 7 and the actual player really is just some guy) isn’t confirmed, but it’s so widely accepted as fact and other stuff like the short story books do all but actually confirm it by doing the equivalent of “this guy named Vike worked at a horror attraction and is dealing with his horrible trauma from his father”. I mean his names not that on the nose, but essentially that.😅
In general, Game Theory videos are pretty good and solid theories. But this timeline is not only massively outdated already, part 4 especially is largely wrong in my opinion. But the biggest problem is the lore in general. The first few games are clearly far removed from what the lore is now, but they are still worked in somehow. We have a bunch of additional content such as books, graphic novels, spin off games, and a movie, for some parts we are specifically told they are not canon, but clearly have huge parallels to the story being told in the games. Some things are left ambiguous as to how much, if any, of it is actually relevant. A lot of the things you wondered where they came from, are from the additional nights/modes of the games you have played, the Ultimate Custom Night game (because it has voice lines for pretty much every animatronic), and the Survival Logbook. To truly "understand" where the lore is at right now, one would have to work through the last 10 years of theory videos. As a whole the lore is a huge mess, makes no sense, is not even attempted to be communicated in a normal way, and the reason the franchise is so successful. I think if we were told exactly what the lore was, the hype would have died down long ago.
You should check out Wendigoon's timeline! It's a little different to MatPat's, but in my opinion, it makes more cohesive sense, and it is so much easier to understand.

@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 I don't know, I just feel like Wendigoon trims the fat and includes the most concise rundown of only the most important events in the story.
Yeah Five Nights is really easy to understand. An indie game dev wasn't having much success with solo projects resulting in making a new game for release in 2014, without much hard story but a few tantalizing threads of a plot sprinkled throughout, that becomes an instant success beyond what any dev could imagine and they immediately work on a sequel and then another sequel and another sequel and another and another in a very short turn around time. Games coming and going so fast that a story was the last thing being thought of. Things just happened and the genius game dev decided that they wouldn't actually make the story themselves, they would just have the fans that craved the games, craved a story, make it wholesale for the dev.

Regardless of it's canonicity ITP doesn't really impact the second Arc at all as it seems to be part of the old arc or part of an arc 1.5 timeline wise (if canon)
theres a newer game theory video that explains the entire lore more clearly and accurately in one video. but glad you watched a lore vid either way!!
I feel like these videos are made for those who already have an general understanding of the lore
It is a bit funny that almost everytime you ask "where is that from" it is from Sister Location.
The books are alternate canon.
@ I know the books are an alternate canon yes but stuff from the books have been used in recent games, with one character in particular getting an entire game about them next year.
@@willfanofmanyii3751they are 100 percent canon
@@calebgoodman3028 they are 100 percent canon
It's his fault for making stuff up
Thanks for your service and reaction.
41:00 well we play in night shift of the resto, so i think we are not william, william is in dayshift as the theory suggest

Very different from the others in the way that you're not always stuck in an office, and roam the huge Pizzaplex
thank you for your service.
Thanks for your service. ☺️
Welcome to Team Theorist
If you wish to check out FNAF AR sadly it was shut down but there's pretty good remakes like darkest delivery(I think it's called) or the Roblox remake
1:24:15 thats from fnaf sister location but from a secret 6th night or something
i had family in the service. My grandfather was in the Korean war.
You should watch Film Theory as well
No sane person asked why you were crawling through vents only you
Just one thing to note, part 4 is all debunked speculation about Security Breach. Parts 1-3 are mostly accurate and canon. Keep this in mind going forward in this series.
Way more than that was debunked
@@lokimiguel2452 The only other thing that was debunked was Henry bailing out William. Other than that, parts 1-3 are still like 90% accurate lore wise. Anything post Fnaf 6 is where the lore starts to get tricky.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 90 percent of it is not accurate
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859Michael did not go to sister location first
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 all of part 1 is speculation
The puppet was Charlotte, henry daughter
Its funny how she knew purple guy but not his real name.
Because the game never states it.
I mean his names not that on the nose, but essentially that.😅
fnaf security breach next i guess :) When you have time :)
BTW Security breach doesn't need to be played in VR
Okay, guys, who's gonna tell her?
the creator of the games confirmed some and made vague yes and no answers on the theories
You should check out the ddlc theorys
1:06:27 uh..
welcome to my decade long hyperfization
Now all you need to do is the fnaf movie
Love coming back to this video just so I can read comments from this one guy that is, I'm pretty sure just baiting cause he got no life other than being a pest on the youtube comments.
Also "It's Bad" isn't a criticism.
Oh please play security breach it’s on PlayStation and it’s the most different out of all of the games
"Five Nights at Freddy's Lore in Only 8:47:38" by GiBi's Horror Homestead is also a really good video, as well as a slightly different interpretation of FnaF's story
Is the Video she's watching super quiet for anyone else, or just me?
Your volume is wayyyyyyy too low. I thought I had my TV on mute on the volume I normally have it. I checked an older video of yours out of curiosity and the audio was fine on that one. Looks like you used to have a mic
She knows she's quiet, it's because she's not at home rn. She's currently..uh..."in the field"..? Or whatever you call it when you're off doing military work lol.
She said in previous videos that her walls are VERY thin, and she doesn't want to wake up her fellow soldiers sleeping on the other side 😅 when she gets back home, it'll be back to normal
Edit: I hope this what you're talking about lol, I'm not sure if it's more quiet than her recent videos have been. If so, there may be extra problems
@@chattycatty3336 oh ok that makes sense. But there is settings on the computer she can mess with to change the master volume after recording, before she uploads. I just came from her last of us playthrough and the audio is night and day
More dark tropes please.....
I love your voice
hey if you are not going to play fnaf ultimate custom night, react to the video of the compilation of voice lines for that game, its a good video and its youtube
BTW there's a lot of good info here but some bits are verryy wrong like the whole last episode but most of the details are pretty solid, good video though!!
Wendigoon's FNAF lore video is, in my opinion, more concise, thorough, and just better.
It's alright. But he misses lots of important points and gets some stuff wrong, like Remnant not being in the game universe, which isn't true.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 I don't know, I just feel like Wendigoon trims the fat and includes the most concise rundown of only the most important events in the story.
@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 matpat is not accurate wither way lol

Unfortunately you're quite late to being a huge fan of The Game Theorists. :/ just a year or two ago, MatPat and his wife abandoned it, and may even have sold it. I'm not so sure about the second part, but they don't really have an input anymore. The channel is a little more than a shadow of it's former self now.
I will add that Mat is still hanging around on the GTLive channel but yeah they're slowly fading Mat out of the content. All the power to him though, he ended his run with the channel on a good note
Moving up and on with your life after creating and establishing an entire brand and devoting over a decade on it Isn’t “abandoning”.
God I hate how fan fiction like this whole ultimate timeline video was instead of simply taking it all the information we already know
that made no sense
